As a result, you may encounter material in this manual that is not applicable to your specific Stinger.

Good find. I think this important piece is missing though and it relates to power tail gate height setting to avoid pushing the roof off your garage -

With my garage door opened no way will it not strike overhead.

Great find! I think this needs to stand out so I separated it out into its own discussion. It'll be easier for people to find this way when doing a search. Thank you for bringing it to our attention! :)

Great find! That's a pretty cool feature. For my wife's Kia Soul EV I had to place a piece of padding on the garage door as the tailgate would just barely touch the garage door depending on how it was parked. Is that present on all the models with the "Smart Power Trunk" or is it a different feature?

Our Sedona SXL has that feature. It certainly saves it from hitting the garage door in garage! Beats our 2013 Sienna that didn’t have that.

I think it’s standard on any Kia power tailgate!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I was able to set the height on mine but having trouble resetting back to full height. Does anyone know how to do that?

Push the tailgate manually higher with your hand and hold the button to set it at the new height.

Yup! My Sorento has this also, very handy to be able to set it lower at times..

I am afraid to do that mine seems to lock in place. I will try it again tonight mine doesn't move freely at all. As an alternative there is a setting to turn it off then manually adjust the height, turn it back on and set it again.
