thanks, I have seen black chrome wheels and they are indeed a blackish chrome, but there is something different with the stinger black chrome, like I said it gives off a goldish type shine.I just googled it, appears you can powder coat a black chrome color.

I may take it in to a custom shop and see if they can whip up something close to matching
I want my wheels to match the black chrome accents , has like a goldish hugh to it in some light. idk if a powder coat could replicate it
That’s my plan for my wheels, found a shop in my city that does a good job. I’ll have to leave my wheels there for four days.

I ended up getting rims in summerAny updates on getting your wheels powder coated in Black / Smoked Chrome?
Where in Atlanta are you (and what shop)?I'm taking my Ceramic Silver Stinger to get the rims powder coated this week. I am leaning towards gloss black, but gun metal is also an option. Considering leaving the center piece that covers the lug nuts the original color so I have a bit of contrast. Love the pictures on this forum of the white stingers with gloss black rims. I found a reputable shop here in Atlanta that will do the entire job (including storing the car for 4 - 5 days) for $750.
Would be curious to hear what you find out on after market rims. I did a little research on that and many of the cheaper rims ($150) wouldn't fit the car. Quickly got up into the $250+ range, which didn't include mounting, balancing, TPMS, etc. But, this is my first go around on custom rims so there may be cheaper options out there.I've thought about getting mine done in something that matches the black chrome trim, but I've seen plenty of attractive aftermarket rims for not much more than would cost to get them PCd, and I wouldn't mind keeping the stock rims for all-season use over the winter.
Decisions, decisions..

Quality cast wheels $200+ Per wheel
Rotory formed/flow formed/hybrid forged or any combo of those phrases $300+ Per wheel
Forged $600+ per wheel
Personally and I think most guys here agree, flow formed family of wheels is the way to go. Lighter weight and higher strength than cast.
I’d look to the pros at getyourwheels.com to help you sort it out for your first go with aftermarket wheels. They’ll take all the guess work out and can answer your questions about fitment and construction.
