It's absolutely not the same, as Bluetooth is compressed in addition to whatever the compression of the source material is. Now, some good sound systems do a great job of restoring the fidelity of the compressed material, the HK in the Stinger being one of them if turned on, but save your lossless music for a truly quality soundstage.It is absolutely the same as with a USB cable. I'm pretty sure the car has its own signal processor.
Maybe you can get better quality if you play the songs directly from a USB stick or through an audio-in cable.
BUT, if you think you can hear the difference in a car going 80 mph, at a normal volume... you have super ears.
