I was just driving down the highway and my Stinger suddenly lost all power, the check engine light came on, the auto hold light came on, the epb light came on. When stepping on the gas pedal it would make a very "bogged down" noise, wouldn't accelerate, and wouldn't go above 25 mph. I was in a spot where I couldn't pull over, with concrete barriers on both sides of me and no shoulder. I drove it like that for 2 miles before I was able to exit and I'm currently sitting at a gas station. I'm 2 hours from home. From reading, it sounds like it went into limp mode? What could've happened to it? And what can I do right now to check/fix the problem?

You can check your VIN to see if your car has any TSB work done on it or outstanding recalls that need fixing. NHTSA | National Highway Traffic Safety Administration My VIN was just refreshed today and shows "0 Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN".
Lucky you! I’ll be scheduling my recal within the next month and getting my oil changed. First time I’ve hit the due time compared to the due mileage for oil intervals. Haven’t been driving as much but when I do drive I make sure to blow out any cobweebs haha.

Are you running a JB4? I had this exact same thing happen twice. I was also running in sport mode for almost an hour before this happened. I shut the car off and cleared the codes with the JB4 and then I was good..no problems since

Nope, it's 100% stock.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I know lol.. Since that night I've driven it almost 500 miles and it has acted the exact same that it always has, no issues at all. So I'm stumped.
Yea I’ve had close to the same thing happen without it throwing any codes a few times but I think that was shitty fuel or something because every time that happened I filled up at a different gas station then I normally use but I’m not positive

I hope it was something like that in my case

Late to the party, but this also occurred to me. I took my car to the car wash and drove home. Just before I got there the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and car went into limp mode. Got it to my parking spot and called the tow truck. Car was at Kia for a few days as they had to keep calling head office to talk to someone who knew more about the car. In the end they chalked it up to a software "glitch" as there were no codes and the issue went away on its own after a night of sitting. Good news is this was over a year ago and the issue has not occurred again.

Side note: I did try doing the same car wash and same trip several times since then to try to reproduce the issue with no luck
