In August, my 2017 RWD Mercedes C300 coupe lease will be up, and after looking at the Camaro 3LT and Alpha Romeo TiSport, I'm pretty sure I'll be leasing a 2019 Stinger GT2. Aside from the C300, in the last 20 years I've had a 2002 BMW 325 (for 11 years) and a BMW 2005 Z4 (for 10 years), and a 2013 ATS (which I'm keeping for a few more years as I consider it my BMW replacement)...all RWD and bought new. No tracking, just pleasure driving. I have only driven the GT2 once and really enjoyed the ride, but given the above driving history, I'd like to hear a comparison between the GT2 and any of the above cars from guys who have had any of the above cars. Comparisons don't have to be extensive as I'm really interested in knowing if I'll be disappointed with the GT2. At this point, I don't think so, but, nonetheless, I'd appreciate your opinions (both + and -). Thanks.

Well, I for one can say the stinger gt2 is a lot more comfortable than my 2010 Scion tC or my 1999 olds alero.

That’s all I got for ya, sorry.

we had a BMW 650 Cabriolet which I would say is a comparable car in ride and general performance , but the Stinger GT is more comfortable , faster and much more practical ( and unique )

Mine sort of reminds me of my 2010 535 M-Sport, except for the adaptive suspension. Matter of fact, the GT I first test drove had me thinking that. The Stinger is not a all out sport sedan, let’s get that out of the way first, it is a GT car with a sporty drive feel. Seeing as you have had other German cars, the drive would feel fairly similar. If you want speed and comfort, you have it here, if you want sporty grip, you have it too, you want to track it, nope, not gonna be the best without some modifications.

Faster, more comfortable, and way better amenities than my G37X. I really liked that car, but this thing seems to do everything better.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I had a 2006 330xi and then a 2016 Maxima. The only thing I liked better about the BMW was the manual, Stinger blows it out of the water in every way other than that (and it should since it's 12 years newer).

The Maxima was a nice car and Nissan dubbed it their "4 door sports car". It was not a sports car, it didn't handle like a sports car, it was very comfortable though, had some power, and didn't have a single issue after 3 years. The Stinger is next level performance, it only has 65 more HP but it honestly feels like 165 more (little exaggeration there but it does feel much faster). Has more space, is better looking, better interior, handles better. The Maxima got significantly better gas mileage though.

I switched from a Tesla Model S 85D. The only thing I miss about the Tesla is the instant torque and AutoPilot. Other than that, the KIA Stinger GT2 AWD is hands down a much better driving and accessorized car.

I had been wishing the Maxima and/or Accord had an AWD for quite some time. Glad they don't now or I might have gotten one of those and missed out on the wonderful beast that is the Stinger.

Funny thing though, Nissan thought it was smart to give the Altima an AWD (with its smaller engine option). You would think it would offer it in it's better car.

I'm willing to bet we'll see an AWD Maxima in the future, AWD coming to the Altima is a good sign of that. Also, they killed the V6 option in the Altima this year so I think they'll keep making the Maximas. It was always a little weird to me that the Altima V6 was so similar to the Maxima.

It really was a good car, if they gave it a standard auto instead of the cvt and made it awd or rwd, it would be worth buying by a car enthusiast.

Whats this "Alpha" Romeo you speak of? Is it a car designed and manufactured only for Alpha males?

Thanks for the opinions. I'm impressed and now quite confident that I will truly enjoy the GT2 when I get it in August. Or, maybe even sooner, if I can get a good lease deal along with KIA buying out my present lease.

Quite right, the Alpha Romeo Giulia TiSport is "manufactured only for alpha males."

Perhaps it is an unambiguous Chinese ripoff of the fantastic Alfa Romeo Giulia?

Came from a 2013 Lexus GS350 AWD. While the Kia is a bit more fun and definitely quicker, the Lexus was the better car in most other areas. The Lexus AWD system is geared more for snow than handling, and had vastly superior build quality. Also more reliable. I found it to be a fair trade off, as it's still a quick enjoyable car.

If you're planning to keep it long term, definitely grab a used GS. If keeping it short term or more interested in something fun, the Stinger is awesome.
