I know someone has answered this, but I new to forum. What is the plastic like clear decal in front of the rear wheels. Is something you peel off or some protection for that area. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. It seems they would have made the mud flaps standard instead of this. Heat and water will probably end up discoloring this area. It’s ppf, paint protection film. Don’t remove it. Protects that area from road debris.

Just one more thing, I noticed Kia put 3 special places on the front bumper for the license plate. You would think Kia dealers would tell tell their people to use them for the bracket. Oh no, they turn the bracket the other way and drilled 5 new holes in my bumper. We live in Texas and your suppose to have a front plate. Well I take mine off, and hope the cops won't stop me, so far so good. Had to buy some plugs, paint them white and plug 5 holes. Asked dealer about this and he said huh, really up on their cars.I think it’s more the debris that passes through the side vents that impact back there. The newer ppf won’t discolour and if it ever does, it’s easy to remove.
