Hi everyone, I was looking at my car today like any other day when i saw what looked like a warped circular disk behind my front two rotors. Can someone tell me what these are? I havent realized they were there until I got my rotors replaced at my dealership.IMG_3969.webpIMG_3970.webpIMG_3968.webp

Dust shield but is it touching the rotor? Shouldn't

I'd bring it back to the dealership that did your rotors and tell them to replace/fix the dust shields they screwed up.

the front dust shields dont look at though they are touching the rotor. Odd how they did the back shields but not the front. IMG_3972.webpIMG_3971.webp

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Can you find a new dealership? If this one is doing you dirty hopefully you can find a good one.

Sound like the dealer service is the culprit on this one. Stuff like this is why I avoid taking my car there, unless it's absolutely necessary.

If the dust shield is not too badly mangled, you can just bend it back into shape. Doesn't need to be precise, just enough to get it roughly back into position and not touching the rotor. I bent the crap out of my rear ones when I first did the Brembo caliper conversion, and the old shields were too small for the larger Brembo rear rotors. Ran the car like that for many months, before I swapped out the shields for the properly sized ones.
