• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

That certainly is disappointing ;)
Yeh, but unfortunately the parking areas were quite aways back from where I shot those at.

Don't worry; there should be some photos of her coming up this weekend in the "what did you do..." thread. It won't be anything that groundbreaking though, but Stingers are photogenic cars...

Last week I did a mini road-trip around S-E Romania to see a 2000 year old monument, built by the romans.
Of course, this was an excuse to drive on some really remote and beautiful roads. The weather was perfect and almost no traffic.

Coming back to Bucharest I crossed the Danube next to this really beautiful 130 year old rail bridge. (right side)
And just now, when I went on google to find an old picture of the bridge to show you guys I came across this hilarious 1-star review from some random dutch guy . Thought I should share.

I don't know, 37 € seems like a cheap date to me.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It still looks much darker than what I've seen.
Maybe we have a lighter red in Europe or maybe it's the black accents you added, don't know. It looks gorgeous!

Thank you! Labor of love lol. Yeah the black accents and tint definitely give it a darker look. It was dusk too so that helps. Here’s a pic from midday for comparison. BA4B7DB7-ECAA-43D7-BE61-66E178CA3580.webp

Took her out last night just out of town to catch the aurora...

that's pretty cool. is it still going? have you ever seen it before where you live?
Last night the Aurora was a lot dimmer, so it might not be visible unless you are in a very dark location. Thankfully, where we love and where we got the photos of the Aurora was far enough away from Portland so light pollution was minor.

I think I only recall once before in the past where there was a large enough geomagnetic storm where the Aurora could be seen as far south as Portland (45d N latitude), but I didn't see it back then.

This time after 10:30pm it got very bright. Was apparently visible almost across the US except for extreme South areas and areas with a lot of light pollution.

I have more Stinger-less photos of the Aurora here:

As well as a shot of the sunspots responsible taken with a proper solar filter (have to emphasize that). I believe the combined sunspots near the sun's south pole us like 800x the size of the earth...

So last week my wife and I went on a long roadtrip for our 13th anniversary. We stopped by the Marysville (Washington) WWI Stonehenge memorial, the Gink petrified forest near Vantage, Went up to the north cascades and visited Diablo lake as well.

Again, don't mind the bugs...
