• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

It'd be cool to organize a stinger "cruise". Used to do that with the G/Z cars around here.

What a great idea - a calendar featuring scenic shots around Australia showcasing members' Stingers.
Or just members from anywhere, showcasing their Stingers. I'm sure I've used a fair number of members Stingers in the four calendars that I've created so far (2020 didn't pan out, so, I made two that year, and had one upstairs and one downstairs; then I've done 2021 and 2022 also: I make a second copy for my grandson who loves my Stinger. :)). But none of them are attributed so far. It might be a fun departure to list the Stinger Forum member in a corner of the pic, plus location info, and Stinger specs like MY and trim, and maybe a mod or two.

Agreed - finding good calendars these days is difficult and the interesting countryside where members take their cars and get a happy-snap is usually amazing because those are the fun roads to drive or scenery to enjoy!

What are calendars?

Either my phone or windows...It's been several decades since a physical calendar got hung.

I make my own calendars every year. Wall art as MGH72 said.

Maybe I should make one for the Stinger...12 different poses for 2023.

I go the lazy, (expensive) way: Walgreens does mine.

Florida got some "nice" roof pics of us and reminded us we owe them 6.50$ lol..

Google maps, twice. How many of you have been nabbed by Google maps even once? :D
I wish that the exact day displayed, then I could tell you where I was going (or returning from) in January of this year.
stinger mine google maps street view.webp

The first time was in August 2007. I was weeding the parking strip, and had been driving the Plymouth Voyager (with five on the floor) for over a year and a half.

^^^Love it (calendar contender).

Today I parked in the golf course parking lot at 10400 South and walked the Jordan River Trail to 12300 South. There I saw a historic bridge that I've never noticed before. Enjoy the plaque, it's very interesting. Most interesting of all is that the restoration cost 166K dollars. Unfreakingbelievable.

^^My evaluation is as follows... +1 for taking up two spots, +1 for one of those being an end spot, -1 for not backing in :)

This may be a dumb question but why is backing in preferable?
