• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

McLarens tend to look alike (yeah i said it). But, that's a 570GT
yes it was "only" a 570GT great colour though

‘Wow! Where was that?
Yeah seriously was just the local shopping center @ Capalaba 4157. I think it is a shop owner's, as I've seen it around there a few times now. Surprisingly I've also seen a white and a silver one roll around the area too. Easy to spot when you're a car enthusiast, I guess.

So Shannon's pair of rollers sweeps the pot then.

Yes because @Pumbaa didn't deal his hand showing us a pic of the " Exotics " in his apartment complex, bluffing strategy perhaps ?

Too late, time clock has expired.

That must be Park. I usually shop at Central and I’ve never seen it there or the other ones you mention around Capalaba for that matter. Can’t believe I’ve never seen them. Not sure I’d be leaving a McLaren lying around a shopping centre.

I wouldn't be parking any " Exotics " at the local shops, it's nerve racking enough parking Sonic there :cautious:

I see way more exotics here than Stingers. They're daily drivers for many people around here - as they should be! There was a Ferrari at Walmart a couple of weeks ago.

Our last day in Huntington Beach. Thought I'd share a perspective of where I ended up parking for the last four or five days. Directly below my wife's third floor room; you can see the Stinger's tail feathers. (And the front view. Narrow enough for you? Backing in is much more than a three point turn when there are cars parked opposite.) Notice the wet patch beside my RR fender? That is from a pipe overhead that drips (not all the time, though), some kind of drain, and it splashes up and gets my bumper cover all spattered. Grr. I washed my car this morning. Then we went to visit my brother-in-law and his wife, and another sister-in-law who had flown over this morning. I parked out front. That's the traveling sis-in-law's red rental SUV.

Why do they have a Porta-Loo in the front yard?

Why do they have a Porta-Loo in the front yard?
That's the neighbors, who have been adding a huge addition that takes up almost their entire backyard. The loo belongs to the construction company.

Left Huntington Beach at c. 7:35 am. Arrived home in SLC (West Jordan, actually) at 5:40 and that was including a gas stop at Costco. Premium in Baker was $4.45 a gallon. At Costco in South Jordan it was $2.64 a gallon.

Totals for the entire trip, Saturday 1 Feb to Saturday 8 Feb are:
Trip 1,815.7 miles
Avg. 24.9 MPG
Time behind the wheel 33:26 hours.

"Rabbit Ears Pass" not far from the Cali/Nevada line (maybe twenty minutes).

In Las Vegas, this green thing made beautiful music and would not allow itself to be passed by anyone. I did manage to get alongside and slightly ahead when the driver in front of it held it up. To keep it in sight outside of Las Vegas, I'd have had to break my promise to myself to not race. :P I did catch up to it one more time when semi trucks interfered with its progress - and I got an itch to do some "fast passing" myself, which took my speed up close to 120, very briefly; with the green machine held up and me going extra legal, it didn't take long to close the gap. But a Stinger in its rearview mirror only made it disappear. (What is "it", by the way? I saw no badges or script.)

The green machine is Gone. :D Pretty wilderness, though.

Mount Nebo, getting close to home; I'm c. an hour and forty minutes from our driveway, according to NAV.

A fuzzy Mt Timpanogos in the background to the left; and the Payson Temple.

A better view of Mt Timpanogos.

Lamborghini. Huracán, maybe? Not something I see around here, so I'm probably wrong about the model.
I'll have to show it to my grandson. He's a car guy. :D (he's eleven)

Haha! When I was 11, I knew all the makes and models, too. Not any more! So stick with the expert.

It actually was at central, over near the private garages in the undercover carpark. I park near there because the spaces are bigger than the norm. Seen it there 3 times ... and agreed, I worry about leaving my stinger there, let alone a McLaren!

I pass-by the white one quite regularly on my commute along mt-gravatt capalaba road, Sheldon end of ney road. The silver, I've only seen once. I'm guessing the owner's like to hang out together occasionally. Lucky them.

I believe we have reached an all time low when Merlin mentions " a wet patch" I knew you liked your car but that's.....oh hang on...I see...rain...puddle ok all good.:p

I posted the pic on our family chat forum, and my son said: "Bray (my grandson) said it’s a Lamborghini Huracan. No hesitation." “It’s a pretty sick looking Huracan.” (said Brayden)

So, congratulations, you were right.:D
