Fantastic news Hemz, have a wonderful time with themDoes me getting my kids back for the first time unsupervised in over a year count? Because that's happening tomorrow from 9am-5pm....kids and I are so freakin' excited!
Best news @Hemz , I have been in a similar situation for like 14 years , just enjoy every second you have with them, time is so precious, my two kids are now 18yo and 21yo, and now just when they are driving and starting their adult lives, i see them even less, hope you have a fun time with your kids, I did while they where still in school and younger.Does me getting my kids back for the first time unsupervised in over a year count? Workin on itOk all, I started this thread as an avenue for ALL forum members to post pics of where they went with thier Stingers....apart from a couple of other members contributing & thanks BTW, I feel it’s been a poor response to what should be a great thread for all to contribute & enjoy the picture postings....this is a great GT car to get out & enjoy, I’ll cut some slack to our Northern Hemisphere brothers & sisters as they are just emerging from winter hibernation.
So now spring has sprung get out there in the countryside & show us your world that you share with your Stinger.
Hey there @AV8R , just to make you aware, I know you have been trying so hard to organise Stinger meets in the past, yesterday a Stinger owner from the Kia Stinger Club of Australia/NZ posted a photo of his lap times at Perth Motorplex last Wednesday night, he has a HiChroma Red Stinger, do you know of an owner named Grant ? could be this Stinger33 owner ?Workin on it
YEs know him well, he has spent a fortune on his car and its now up to above 400hpHey there @AV8R , just to make you aware, I know you have been trying so hard to organise Stinger meets in the past, yesterday a Stinger owner from the Kia Stinger Club of Australia/NZ posted a photo of his lap times at Perth Motorplex last Wednesday night, he has a HiChroma Red Stinger, do you know of an owner named Grant ? could be this Stinger33 owner ?
I live in the mountains. The "Alpine Loop" is still snow packed/bound. It won't be entirely clear until late next month, or even into May. "Patience, Grasshopper."So now spring has sprung get out there in the countryside & show us your world that you share with your Stinger.
Over 31 mpg! Fantastic! Mpg envy, here.just arrived home, after almost 2,400kms over the last 6 days from Sydney to Mooloolaba & back again this car never missed a beat & delivered a fuel efficiency of 7.4litres/100kms.....I’m absolutely thrilled with these numbers.
No trip, scenery or road is boring when driving the Stinger, I’ve driven from Dallas to Odessa, Odessa to Corpus Christi & Odessa to Santa Fe, most scenery is a lot like OZ but you can always snap some great shots. Before that, I will go to Texas and back (God willing, of course). I will keep my camera handy with this thread in mind. That road trip will span the 9th through the 17th of April. Much of it is boring, visually, however. Maybe I'll take pics of the boring bits too, just to show how we must endeavor to persevere on our N. American road trips (though nothing like trying to traverse the Outback, I'm sure).
