I have a 2018 Stinger GT1 78k miles with a jb4 tune and intakes, ober the last few months I’ve noticed a significant loss of power. I’ve sent tune logs to JB4 and they said everything was working fine. I’ve had an electronic suspension light on for a little while and was told the front right strut needs to be replaced. I took car to dealership for recall done and after I got the car back it was running normal with power back for 2 days. After those two days it went back to a limp mode feeling. I took it to my mechanic and he said it was running normal for the two days because the dealership reset the computer and after driving it picked the suspension problem back up and stunted the performance. So after I replace the strut the performance will go back to normal? Just looking for input if anyone has had similar problem or know if this sounds correct. Thanks

Didn’t know a strut could do that but I have a evap check engine light on and it’s definitely put my car in some kind of limp mode.

You are going to replace the strut. Hopefully your mechanic is correct. I know that ECS cuts power to a corner for a variety of conditional reasons. A permanently compromised strut would result in a permanently applied power cut to that corner, it seems to me.

I didn’t either but I guess it has something to do with the coding?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

So you think with the strut replaced it would fix the problem? I just don’t know why the car would run normal again for 2 days after taking it to dealer, they just reset the computers.
