Flagstaff AZ Kia has a yellow GT2 as of last week. Good luck sir!
Agreed. This deal won't happen unless it's my terms. They won't get any money otherwise. I'm gonna lease and then buy it right away so they won't get anything. Else I'll wait or find another or find a Ceramic Grey one.Not saying you shouldn't get the color you want. But rewarding a greedy and dishonest dealership that tried every which way to pry more money out of the deal just because of the color is what continues to give dealers like that the incentive to continue doing it. I'll be interested to know if the buyer hears back from Costco and/or Kia.
Glad I didn’t buy from them. I bought from Tempe Kia.Agreed. This deal won't happen unless it's my terms. They won't get any money otherwise. I'm gonna lease and then buy it right away so they won't get anything. Else I'll wait or find another or find a Ceramic Grey one.
Nothing back from wither Costco or Kia yet. I'll keep this thread updated.
As far as the color...I don't want another standard black, white or silver
Awesome. I've been watching cars.com but this tool looks helpful also. Thanks. I'm in SoCal a lot so that's an easy road trip.Hey @Mach_Tuck, the KIA inventory finder shows three yellow GT2's at dealers in SoCal:

I don't know how much hassle it is for an out-of-state buyer to purchase a car in California, or of any of the three SoCal dealers with yellow GT2's in stock are reputable/have fair prices. If those considerations prove to be solid, might be worth a quick flight and six hour drive from PHX. Probably wise to also get the dealer to make a commitment. Just an idea.
EDIT
Looks like there's also a yellow GT2 in Henderson, NV:

Edit: another one just popped up at another local place.
WTH?!? You can lease a Porsche 911 for that kind of money!I suppose the AZ dealers think very highly of the yellow cars.
Initial offer from second place for a 12K/3yr lease is $4995 Down and $1233 per month!!!!
Just shaking my head now.
Yep...Lexus RCF offer I recently got was 5K down and $1350/month for same mileage.WTH?!? You can lease a Porsche 911 for that kind of money!
Dude! WTH is the sticker on that thing? $100k? Please tell me you laughed in his face? I did that a couple of times when shopping for a Stinger...Yep...Lexus RCF offer I recently got was 5K down and $1350/month for same mileage.
And to top off the Second offer, the sales manager added it was "reduced" because of the President's Day Sale.
$68,888 is sticker on the stinger. Even though cars.com says $51,150. Just started another thread on that one. And yes I laughed.Dude! WTH is the sticker on that thing? $100k? Please tell me you laughed in his face? I did that a couple of times when shopping for a Stinger...
Also got mine from Tempe, oddly enough at the time of buying they were selling for about $2,000 under MSRP. Now they're back up to MSRP. Regardless I'd be surprised to see the yellow Stingers selling without some form of markup, sadly comes with the territory with limited runs.Glad I didn’t buy from them. I bought from Tempe Kia.
I can agree somewhat in this. However, by virtue of being yellow only really doesn't make it limited in my opinion as its same as any other GT2 out there. Also got mine from Tempe, oddly enough at the time of buying they were selling for about $2,000 under MSRP. Absolutely, but typically dealers do markups like that anyways due to it being limited, even if it's just a paint color. It's really lame, but at the end of the day you're at the mercy of the dealership.I can agree somewhat in this. I was good on car cost. It was all the other shady stuff they were pulling that turned me away.
In hindsight, even with this dealers fees, it's still cheaper than the other today at $68.8K
Base GT RWD equipped with the Drive Wise Package in the Micro Blue.Which Stinger did you buy?
No argument in logic. Only when people stop paying them will they come down. If some other sucker wants to pay 300% markups and ridiculous market adjustments, more power to them. I for one will not. Unfortunately, too many buyers are ignorant to this and in turn this enables dealers to continue these practices. I will not contribute. I truly feel bad for the folks next to me in the dealer that evening having no qualms paying $800 for a $200 tint job.Absolutely, but typically dealers do markups like that anyways due to it being limited, even if it's just a paint color. We have a Sunset Yellow GT2 AWD in stock. No Games. Sticker. Zero dealer addons. We can ship anywhere in the USA.
Yep, i saw this in your other post before i saw the offer! Glad you were able to get this. I dont want AWD living in AZ so i will wait for GT2 RWD in Sunset Yellow. Funnily enough, both of the ones near me are still available. Not anymore!
I was in the same boat as Mach_Tuck looking for mine. Went through 3 dealers who wanted to jerk me around with the Yellow. Kiaofmunice let me know on here they had their Sunset Yellow GT2 AWD, so I called and we had a deal worked out in a few hours, no BS, easiest car purchase of my life.
I did not want anything other than Sunset Yellow in GT2 trim. I really wanted AWD, but would have settled for RWD to get the color. Persistence paid off. Keep hunting and you'll be able to find one at sticker or less. I was very much prepared to wait myself, but luckily I don't have to now.
Best of luck in your search!!
