Parking sensor distance display

After watching several videos on the stinger, I have noticed there is no display showing the distance of objects from the car when parking or in low speed maneuvers. I have driven my friends BMW and next to the backup camera there is a display showing how close you are to objects detected by the parking sensors. Does the stinger have a similar display and if so, what menu do you have to go into to have this show up? Example of what I am talking about in picture above.

So then how do the parking sensors work? Is there only an audible noise?

The backup sensors on mine have an audible warning that beeps, and the frequency of the beeps increase the closer you get to an object. When you are in the 'VERY CLOSE' zone (<30cm) it becomes a continuous tone.

IIRC, it also lights that region on the camera display to show you which 'zone' at the back is close to contact.

Does it show up on the camera display for the standard backup camera or the 360 degree camera?

I have the 360 degree camera - don't know on the others.

Recommend you put the year and model of your car in your signature, it helps for questions like this.

The reason I Don't have anything in my signature is because I don't even have a stinger yet, the lease on my current car is not up until next year, but I have been researching the stinger for several months and want to know everything possible about the stinger before I buy it.

Fair enough! As far as I know, the U.S. market cars did not have the 360 cameras in 2018, but the top trim did have the feature starting in 2019.

Thank you, I more than likely will be purchasing the stinger, the bigger problem will be actually trying to wait until next year to buy it. I did not even go do a dealership to see one or test drive one because I am afraid I will want to drive it home that day.
