Panels not matching.

Not sure if other have experienced this or if there is a thread that exist for this already, if so let me know. Anyway, it appears that the Pearl isn’t matching from panel to panel on my car. It’s a 2019 and I have 700 miles on it now and noticed this when taking pictures. At first I thought it was just lighting but I looked again today and something is off to me.

Not seeing mismatching pearl in the pic. You must be cursed with highly discerning eyes. That will make any paintjob shared over metal and plastic impossible to fully enjoy. And you have my sympathy.

I can't see any mismatch in the picture - looks really nice to me. I have a SWP car as well, and am very happy with the paint on mine.

The same paint applied on metal and plastic (e.g. bumper covers) can appear slightly different to the eye, with varying direction and strength of the light source. Pearl is especially finicky that way, and is very sensitive to how that coat is sprayed on.

Next time you are walking through a parking lot on a sunny day, take a close look at the front bumper covers on white cars where they meet up with the metal fenders. You'll see a lot of subtle variation there, that you wouldn't notice unless you were specifically looking for it.

Especially with pearl paint, change the angle you are looking at it, and you may find the section on that other car that you thought was ever so slightly 'brighter' now looks slightly darker. Once you realize you're not alone, forget about it and enjoy your car ...

Pearl/Metallic paint has a very slight perceived difference on plastic vs metal , I have SWP as well , and have had several other white cars that display a similar perception . Of course IF your car was repainted it could have additional differences , I would note that my rear bumper and spoiler were re painted and the paint match is absolutely perfect !!

I don't notice it in the photo either. Just looks like a picture of a nice clean Stinger to me!

in direct bright sunlight, i can see a difference between some of the panels on my black stinger. It's impossible to get the pain tot look exactly the same on metal and plastic. That's probably what you're seeing

I’m mostly referring to the metal to metal(front door to back door). It looks different to me.

I see it! The rear door looks slightly darker. Take another set of pics with varying angles, and I am sure I will see something else. (In other words, angles and light sources change everything.) I'll wait …

Man, Federation Orange would be a nightmare for you, but I do feel you: I can see the slightest differences in shade, too. It drove me nuts on my old white GT, especially because of how blatantly obvious it was between the front bumper and everything else behind it due to the different material (metal vs plastic), and also drives me nuts on my GTS since all plastic parts are clearly a different shade. However, it really just indicates a cheap paint job: professional shops with skilled painters who know how to use a mix of computers and their own eyes can match paint near-perfectly on different materials, so it's clearly possible from a factory perspective. The one thing I appreciated about my American cars of the past is that the paintjobs were always thick and well-done: the plastic panels and metal body parts always matched so closely it was nearly indiscernible. But more paint = more weight, and in the performance world, you'll find that a lot of higher end sports cars and supercars have really thin, somewhat crappy paintjobs.

If I would hazard a guess, the door was repainted (most likely by the dealer) due to some damage
I only say this as a friend of mine used to work for a Ford/Lincoln dealership, And he put the blade of the snow plow through the door of a brand new Lincoln, when I asked if he boss was mad, he said, Naa, we just send the door to the body shop and had it patched and painted, happens all the time!
