In the owner manual it states several times about different sizes and how it could damage LSD, traction & stability controls, ect. I would assume this means only diameter of tire since cars come equipped with different sizes. It states not to have a difference of 3%. So my question is does it really matter how tall the setup is as long as all tires are the same diameter? Is there an issue with these systems with revolutions? Thanks

I think you'll find that wheels plus tyres need to be the same overall diameter as OEM otherwise you might get calibration issues with speed display etc.

Difference in tire OD causes a differential to spin "unequally" causing accelerated wear on a clutch-type LSD. For the nannies, the result is erroneous output from the individual wheel speed sensors.

There should not be a problem with using slightly shorter or taller tires as long as they're all the same size as far as the nannies and the LSD go. There might be a problem with the crash mitigation system and it will affect speedometer accuracy and ground clearance among others.

Try to keep them within 3% of OEM diameter to avoid any possibility of issues.

That doesn't mean you will get issues if you don't, but the risk is there, just no way to know. You're welcome to blaze that trail for the benefit of the community.. :)
