I absolutely love the Arteon. I need a vehicle by March. I can't wait for the Arteon late summer release.
March is almost over, better get that Arteon quick.I absolutely love the Arteon. I need a vehicle by March. I can't wait for the Arteon late summer release.
And what a unique post for the 'what did you do to your kia stinger today' thread ....I absolutely love the Arteon. I need a vehicle by March. I can't wait for the Arteon late summer release.

I agree with you sir I am tired if overpaying for Audi's and Porsche, so if Kia and Genesis continue to bring these type of cars I might never go back German again, don't get me wrong they are amazing cars with amazing engineering but as you said need to watch my money.Okay i wrote Roman .. deleted it.
Short: (okay I can’t keep it short .. sorry)
Please keep in mind - it’s only my opinion - skip it if you aren’t interested
I absolutely don’t want to say anything bad against someone who chooses an Arteon.
I did the configuration of arteon finally with the tech of the GT. It comes up with 65.000€
For less powered as the GT but slight more than the 2.0..oh and without a roof, otherwise it’s about 66.000€
Optimized for RON98 Fuel, which costs slightly more every time.
You need to buy everything - an theft alert, head airbag front and side in the back..and so on.. if you want this you need that blah..
If I take the 2.0 Stinger without a roof I come to 51.000 - all in but no Nappa leather seats (okay also no real park Assist and no traffic jam Assist ..)
With Priceoff I’m at ~45.000€
compared to ~65.000€ Without a priceoff I don’t know what vw makes possible ..
A difference of 20.000 € is here .. for what ?
Take the Gt let it be 17.000 € Difference
You need about 30% Priceoff to beat KIA at the Price - therefore you get a car that looks internal like a Passat if I remember right (watched several reviews vs stinger .. the vw lost and that in a German Review.. couldn’t believe my ears)
I wanted the Arteon too but no. And that’s why I never get a vw, bmw, Mercedes, Audi or other German stuff .. prices are high, and like some computer games you have a ton of dlc's (at least no loot boxes..) to add with more costs.
Im a German and i hate German manufacturers. Not only for that the cars look almost the same and are visable every corner, but also for their prices.
yeah I need to watch my money ..the stinger is also high priced - planned to go not higher as the i30 Fastback N but it wasn’t released and a new car was needed - with style of course ..
so - stinger 2.0 for me to limit the running costs. In comparison to the i30 I can see differences which result in a higher price that’s okay.
Agreed plus interior is blah vanilla common mundane cheap just meh.I did a quick build & price for an Arteon in Canada. For an Arteon similarly equipped to my Stinger, the price was $3K higher for a car with 100 fewer HP. Good looking car, but no contest on the power front.
Is because it's German and the name AaaaRTEONNNN!!!!Am I the only one that doesn't like the looks of the Arteon? I know it's entirely subjective, but the comments here led me to believe it was going to be a car that rivaled the Stinger in the looks department. Then I googled it and didn't understand what the commotion was about. I get it that it has more understated (and potentially classier) looks than the Stinger. The Stinger definitely has some unnecessary flair (fake vents for example) that turns some people off, but there's something about the Arteon (both interior and exterior) that doesn't do it for me.
Exactly. All the German fans and badge snobs get their panties in a bunch over something like that!Is because it's German and the name AaaaRTEONNNN!!!!
Looks are subjective but the only good thing on my opinion is the digital Audi cockpit the rest is vanilla. But that's just my opinion.I like that there isn’t a tablet glued to the dash. The interior actually looks good and they have three colour choices including two tone seats, something we don’t have.
The exterior is gorgeous in photos but the car is way underpowered. I also considered it but passed because of the 4 cylinder power plant and glad I didn’t wait as it keeps getting pushed back.
Agreed plus interior is blah vanilla common mundane cheap just meh.
Starts a few thousand above a base Stinger.
The objections about a "glued on tablet" are all aesthetics. There is another more practical objection to screens down in the dash: your peripheral vision is lowered as you drive and touch the screen. I'd rather have my eyes up when selecting music or searching the maps.
