Oh I'm sure of it.my opinion.....no comparison ... huge performance difference between the 4cyl and the 6cyl.
may look similar but don't perform the same.

Understandable. $50k is a lot of money. That’s why I have a GT, not a GT1 or GT2. I prefer the performance over the tech I lost by not getting the high end 4cyl around the same price. Comes down to preference. Both are good choices. But I will say, the way the cars drive and feel are much different than the numbers will tell you.No, I've never have. But I had no intention of spending 50k on a car, Kia or otherwise. Plus, performance wise they're not that far off of each other. About .6 -.8 second difference on the 0-60. Top end, I don't know what the max is for the GT-LINE but I never had the 911 over 144, so I'm good there too. Have you driven a 99' 996?
You are right Ron. Performance wise 6 cyl is a beast. I test drove 3.3 twice, all up over 5 hours of driving . Than I test drove 2.0l only for about 45min and decided to take 2.0l .my opinion.....no comparison ... huge performance difference between the 4cyl and the 6cyl.

2.0l would surprise many with its drive and performance.
I just can't race 3.3l older sister![]()
Now you got me thinking I should at least go back to the dealership and take one for a spin lol! Seriously, the 996 is a fun car and reasonably priced right now. Maintenance is the downside. I was averaging 5k a year. But if you got the money go for it.Understandable. $50k is a lot of money. That’s why I have a GT, not a GT1 or GT2. I haven’t driven the 996. Never driven any 911 sadly. The 996 is such a good buy right now. One of my dream cars is a 993 Turbo. Maybe I’ll get a 996 some day to introduce myself into Porsche ownership.
