I'm buying new rotors when I change brake pads in the not too distant future so here's the question. Drilled, slotted, drilled and slotted, OE or something I haven't considered, Personally OE would be out but I'm open to hearing all sides on this, what say you? Any recommendations are appreciated

I would do Cquence drilled and slotted on mine.

I have had both drilled and slotted on past cars. For a street car I would not use drilled, but I’m a big fan of slotted rotors.

I found that with drilled rotors in the rain there is a slight delay in braking as water collects around the holes (due to surface tension) that the pads must first clear away before braking occurs. Also, unless properly drilled cracks can occur around the holes in high heat situations.

These issues do not occur with slotted rotors. The slots allow for gas dissipation between the pad and rotor so there is no loss of braking as the pad/rotor heat up and the slots will also wipe clean the pad surface when first applying the brakes.

As a FYI, I have a 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 (the performance Stingray) and it came with slotted rotors from the factory.

Thanks for the info

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
OE style or slotted.

Drilled look cool but have a habit of developing cracks over time. This isn't really an issue on race cars that are constantly have the brake inspected or replaced after runs but I wouldn't trust them on a daily driver.
