Again, as I said in the other thread, the posts were inappropriate. You deciding to drag your resentments over into a completely different topic days later is on you. No one prompted (or forced) you to do that. Hence... not a martyr.

If you want to go kaboom, fine. Consequences for Sal get easier the more obstinate you want to be. Let Sal deal with the other member and their actions, that's his responsibility. Yours is to follow forum guidelines.

When someone tries to make a joke out of your dead family members you turn the other cheek and walk away. I'm not built that way. f**k him.

Don't want to jump in but I cannot resist! Let's not bring race into it..(and I am black). Kamauxx, as someone who has been downrange and faced both sides of the firing line ask yourself this question. Does the sheepdog argue with the sheep? This is not meant to belittle anyone...just that in this present day the confidence bestowed by the anonmity of the screen has gotten out of hand! In this man's civilian world we have to stay hard but realize that while no man is better than the other man...the warrior's knowledge of self should reign supreme!

To the rest of the members of the Army/marines that I insulted with what I said in the other thread, I apologize. I shouldn't have said it. It was incredibly rude to all of you even though it was only directed at one of you. you can keep hating me, that's fine. I deserve that. I know that 99% of you are wonderful people and don't deserve any disrespect or slander that is thrown your way. I'm sorry.

Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard all service branches should be the start to your apology. The reason service personnel take disrespect very seriously is because of the sacrifices made for whatever reason! Regardless of if it has a political, financial or social agenda...someone died in order to give you the ability to live the life you are living today! The sacrifice comes with deep consequences. The triggers can be as simple as a word or a sentiment and can take someone to a deep dark place. An apology is not necessary...just move forward recognizing that our time on this spinning orb is better spent improving ourselves through introspection than comparison!
