All fitted, took 2 minutes...looks so much better than the plain plastic original.

Just a heads up in Shark Racing they are ok and their product is good but jeez do they take forever to send it. In my case 5 weeks. Has to send them a few reminder emails that I wasn’t happy then they finally sent it.

Tell us all how you fitted it.
1. Remove mats.
2. Remove the two plugs located in recesses in front inner face of the trim, I used two flat stainless
steel strips & gently worked them out in a side to side type action.
3. Grab one end of the trim & gently but firmly pull the trim vertically up to disengage the 2
locating pins on that side.
4. Move to the other side of the trim & repeat step 3, trim is now free.
5. Place new trim in situ, ensure it overlaps the rubber seal as per original, then press evenly
down to engage locating pins.
6. Refit the two plugs from step 2.
7. Refit mats.

Same here, good product, I ordered this 9th Sept. & it arrived today. I chased them for 3 weeks each time told waiting on supplier & will ship next week, no response on my 4 th email until it sent another stating I was not happy & would complain to PayPal, got a response straight away & offered me 10% in store credit, told them I want the 10% credited to my PayPal account, no response nor credit in my PayPal account, so its buyer beware, but the products I’ve purchased ie: this part & the engine cover are genuine.

The plugs need to be pryed out gently use a trim tool to do it or a flat fork? That are very thin plastic so don’t yank them out. Picture of plug below.

Trim tool....fancy, sorry @AV8R forgot to mention:
addendum to Step 2. I used two flat stainless steel strips & gently worked them out in a side to side type action.

Ok, for all of our Aussie colleagues that have pre June 18 builds & are interested in additional bling, I went to my dealer today & this part is now listed in their system but still no price, but if you can get it for under AU$110.00 it would work out cheaper & quicker than ordering from South Korea.
Anyway below is the picture of the label with the part number on it that it came in, quote this to your spare parts department & see what they can do for you & as stated above in this thread they are easy to change over.

Is it just me or is there a nose and a mouth on the bottom left of that pic? Like Han Solo when Jabba The Hutt froze him in that wall. Who did you smother with your packaging? o_O

Bump: FYI I finally got the list price for this part via. Kia AU on their spare parts list & it’s priced at AU$240.00.
Shark Racing is the best price at US$77.00 free shipping to OZ.

Seems pricey. Shame they left all these bit and pieces off the AU 2018 model when they were fitted everywhere else. I feel Kia let down the early adopters of what they claim is their flagship vehicle.

I know, but you throw a product out for the first time & see how it goes, bits & pieces like this are always held over for the next upgrade & so on & so on.
I’m not disappointed, bought & fitted this myself, but as an early owner I’ve had the pleasure of driving this now for over 18 months & in the early months got a great kick out of people asking WTF is that.

Can recommend as I bought and fitted one from same seller.

I guess the prior owner did this to my car. I always thought it was a nice detail but thought it was stock.
