So this all started a few weeks ago when I took my car in for an oil change and the technician found an oil leak. After going over it, there was a warp on the oil filter housing. After switching that out, I started to get an oil pressure code on my dash but only at an idle when I was stopped. I was told that the sensor was bad so I had the car scheduled to go in that evening when the part arrived and the day I was bringing it over I got an engine code after starting it. I drove the car to the shop, and it hasn’t started since. The engine code was for a long crank due to a weak battery that we found after the car was already not starting. Its going into accessory mode and says your car is now on as usual but turns off as though I turned it off. The engine doesn’t even try and do anything. Ive tried fuel, battery, and fuses so far but nearing a loss as to what it is. Im out of warranty and terrified to bring it to the dealershit until ive done absolutely everything first. The car has 137k on it so kia said they would switch out the starter first as it is the only thing we have been unable to check so far due to the placement of the starter so I found a used starter and were attacking that now but after that I dont know. Im sure I'm missing something in this long rant but I’m just hoping someone may know something.
