I actually joined the forum in 2018 after getting my first Stinger, a 2018 Micro-blue GT. LOVED IT! Today I got my fourth Stinger... a 2022 Ceramic Scorpion Edition.
I'm new in the sense that I haven't posted until today.

My auto-enthusiast background has been in high HP vehicles and drag racing which I've moved on from. It started with the iconic 2003 SVT Cobra "Terminator" convertible I built into an 850 hp monster and went to a GT500, then a supercharged A6 when I stopped racing and modifying, and then on to the Stingers. I was a moderator for years on Mustang forums and posted many "how to" instructionals for modding the Terminators. That was then and the Stingers are now.

First on my list is badging. I've always gone with the E logo in front of the hood and on the wheel covers but I may just remove the KIA badge from the hood, leave that blank, and use my E logo center caps.
What I REALLY want is some legit Scorpion badge. I'm only seeing discussion and requests for opinions on older threads about a Scorpion badge unless I've missed something. Sal...anyone...is there something out there? Ideally, there would be a whole scorpion with a red tip or blood drop on the stinger! Maybe it doesn't make sense for someone to manufacture badging for a relatively small number of vehicles.

In any case, I'm Mike... I think I'll be here and there on the forum moving forward.

Well! Welcome aboard, officially! And thank you for signing up. Fourth Stinger! Congratulations. As for a scorpion badge, so far nobody has designed something that’s been widely praised in design. You’re right about manufacturers not wanting to produce anything without very high quantities - but some of the less popular ones sometimes do.

Welcome! I'm curious how you got to 4 Stingers in a bit over 4 years. Can you elaborate on this path? Thx.

I knew that question was coming!
In my original search for my 2018 GT1 I was disgusted with the first couple of dealers I went to. I've bought a lot of cars in my day and enjoy negotiating until it hurts and was really put off with their unwillingness to bend. When I came across Car Pros Kia in Glendale, CA they went straight to the bottom and gave me a deal so far below the others there was nothing to do but the paperwork.
For some reason the general manager took a liking to me and will put me into another car like changing a shirt. The day I got into the last GT1 in October we both knew it was more or less a rental car until the right Ceramic Scorpion became available.

My sister was looking for quite awhile and going to all the dealers to get the ultimate Teluride. Prestige package with nightfall I believe they call it. It had to have everything available. With the huge dealer markups she wasn't ready to pull the trigger. I said I'd check with "my guy". He got the exact vehicle she wanted for $7700 less than any other dealer was willing to go. She and her husband are super happy with the vehicle and the deal.
I bought my youngest daughter a new Optima 2 years ago.

That was the painfully long answer. Short answer is I've built a relationship with the right guy.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Here's the Scorpion. That wing really finishes the look!

Lol. You win the "owned the most Stingers" contest. :D Congratulations.

Not strictly true, once in 2018 and once in 2020: welcome back into the open, anyway.

That's an epic lurk for sure. I don't have that much self control.
