Not as quick as stock

Jb4 Map2, Injen Intake, 93 Octane. No scientific method or anything but just mashing the pedal on the freeway from a stop I get a 4.8- 5.0 0-60 (Without launch control though) It feels like I'm not doing something right. I think I hesitate initially, thinking that a cop is watching me, then I mash the pedal shortly after. Would the 18 inch all seasons affect my time?

Don't forget that altitude plays a role in performance, wherever you may be. I can't seem to break into a sub 5s 0-60 at our 2200ft and my open intakes on Map 2, even with launch control. My logs are pretty clean though for boost and timing, so it must be the air...

Yeah, my elevation is at 700 feet and DA about 1200. Have you tried Map 3?

Not yet, and maybe not for a while. I don't think I have the octane to run it. I know the knock sensors should dial everything back, but I don't wanna blow it up lol.

So why are the top four fastest AWD, when everybody who claims to know, says that RWD is the faster off the line?

They claim it for stock car under ideal condition (temperature, no rain). When things get crazy (tunes, aftermarket parts) then traction on just rear wheels is not enough.

This is a run from yesturday 300 feet elevation, 54 degrees, AWD, tune, Intake, IC, catback. With a few bolt ons AWDs should be around 4.0 (but not at 2000+ feet)

Intake is next, then exhaust. Not sure about the downpipes just because of the mixed reviews. I’m right on the coast so elevation isn’t a factor

I just did 1 quick 0-60 on an open side street with launch control this time and got 4.69. Felt a little slow off the line but surprised at the time, feel it could be a lot better. Only

My best guess is you're not putting the pedal to the metal, as they say. If you're in tune with your car (no pun intended) you should notice a difference between each map. Amount of boost, when boost kicks in and tapers, and amount of wheelspin per gear. Bigger rear tires (at least on RWD, never driven AWD) lighter wheels, lighter rotors, chassis stiffness have definitely played a big role in the traction between the different maps for me. Also, make sure your car and tires are properly warmed up when doing testing since JB4 will not activate until oil temp is above 160 Fahrenheit (I think) on the default settings.

The SSR downpipes are great. No complaints here. I have a used set of the RWD pipes (maybe 4k miles on them) I'll sell for cheap if you're interested, they may fit AWD idk the difference... hardware? I ended up going with Ultimate Performance racing primary cats since the stock primaries are restrictive, and heavy (the welds are atrocious on stock primary cats wtf KIA) so the car can still pass emissions in my location.

DA almost 6000

FWIW 0-60 is a tricky measure to spot performance gains. Always look at 1/4 mile trap speed for a more consistent measure of power.

Terry@BMS I have one question what is the hp gain if I have A stinger gt and run the JB4 on the second setting with fuel wires I believe it is a 91 octane program
