Hello all,

Just picked up my GT1 last Saturday and I love it. Only have a couple hundred miles on it so far. Only question I have at this point is on my gas pedal when I floor it, towards the very end of the travel (like almost to the floor) there is a little slight notch, or step feeling in the pedal, and then you can push through it and get a tiny tiny bit more pedal movement towards the floor. Just wondering if this is normal or what? My guess is its some sort of switch to tell something in the car that it is full throttle.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, it's normal....enjoy!

Is this a kickdown switch - as long as conditions are appropriate, triggers the transmission to kick-down a gear or two - effectively a way of convincing the car's ECU and TCU that you want to go faster, and now?
