Greetings,

My name is Tom and I'm a new owner of a black-on-black '18 Stinger GT1 RWD which was acquired yesterday. There are small plans already for it, but right now it's sitting in the garage, mostly unprepared straight from the dealer. I was lucky that the dealer didn't install a bracket for the front license plate. Hopefully, today, I could get it ready for the road.

I felt the same way: while waiting in the showroom for my car to be driven to me from another location (a long half hour ), I woke up and noticed that c. half or more of the Stingers around me had front licence plate frames. No! I hope mine doesn't have one. And bless my lucky day, it didn't. Still doesn't and won't (in UT they don't cite you for no plate in front as a first offense, i.e. they won't pull you over for only a missing front plate).

You are only the second owner I have heard about who requested that the dealer prep be left off, so that you can go over your car yourself. Had I thought about it, I'd have done the same (this is my first brand new car).

The Stinger replaced an '18 Chevrolet Silverado which was on an annual "rotation". I got good enough discount and maybe I can put it in the same cycle next year.
