My son has always been into drawing (he gets that from me). One trimester they gave him the wrong art class and the one he wanted was full so he ended up taking a painting class. Before he took the class all he did was complain and moan about how painting sucks and he's no good at it. Well..........






















All those shoes were all white originally (except for the cleats and the Metallica pair) so you can see the skill he has. He's made some for himself, his Ma, friends. He's also made some good money customizing sneakers for kids (lotta Anime nerds in his school). He would love to get good enough/big enough to one day do a pair of cleats or sneakers for NFL/NBA players when they wear shoes to support social justice or other causes. All thanks to the idiots at the local public school giving him the wrong class, who knew?

holy moly , that makes my brain hurt watching that. that is not of this world. at first i thought it looked like a fishing reel.

I came across the above from this site - The hand-cranked calculator invented by a Nazi concentration camp prisoner . The site used to be very tech oriented, then became left wing proponents. I ignore the political cr@p, but do like the tech stuff.

It is an ingenious device ahead of times time. No cad, cnc or other technology like we have today back then. Imagine having the vision for such a thing.
