I’m in Southern California, we don’t get horrible weather, anyone else park there cars outside! Wife’s car garaged, what do you use other than a cover to keep the elements off her??? Spray? Wax? Sound off please....

My Stinger is always garaged but my daily driver isn’t. Clean and wax it often, park it in the shade whenever I can and use a car cover on very hot days. It’s five years old and looks almost like new.

In my opinion your best bet would be applying a good quality ceramic coating.

I use bead maker every couple of weeks and megs spray detailer and my car is usually non garaged still looking pretty

Easy answer, tell wife to park outside and use the garage, if can't, if wife is the boss, then the answer is this:

Spend a whole afternoon, washing the car, polish then apply this, you will be amazed by its hydrophobic properties and self cleaning properties, protection against UV, bugs and birth excrement. Amazing product with Pro results that you can do at home.

Birth excrement? Man that is hard core stuff and where the heck are you driving? :)

I was hoping to have bought a house a few months after getting my Stinger. Unfortunately a relationship ended and a pandemic happened. With worry of job outlook I re-signed my apartment lease for another year to get reorganized to start looking again to hopefully buy before the end of the year. I do not have my car garaged which was something I was hoping to have had by now. I wash and detail my car religiously. I have ceramic coated the entire thing and I make sure nothing stays on it to long to damage the paint. I am lucky I enjoy washing my car and I spend every weekend with decent weather at my friends house washing my car by hand in his driveway.

Yes that freshly washed car of a ceramic coated pain and then applying some Gyeon quick detailer or Car Pro reload is priceless.

Get a side piece with a garage ................................Just kidding ..............................bawaaaaa

Frequent washings with a quality soap, keeping up with clay bar treatment, and good wax applications. I live in Southern California too. I didn’t have a garage until 8 years ago. Thankfully, I was able to keep up with clay bar treatments and wax enough to keep my previous cars paint job from getting the California cancer of faded clear coat

Its my rock chipped 44k mile daily driver. Sits outside :) on a clean driveway though

That actually sounds like good advice.

Get out of the sun. Direct, merciless, daily sun baking is the single most destructive element on cars.

I don't have a garage so my Stinger sits outdoors. Of course I live in the the foggiest, cloudiest city in Canada with less than 1500 hrs of sunshine/year so I probably don't have to worry. It's also the 3rd windiest city in the world so my bigger concern is damage from wind blown objects.

Mine lives outside too. Invest in PPF, ceramic coat, ceramic window tint for UV protection and a shade for the windshield to keep the heat down.

You'll want to wash it a few times a month, wax periodically, and treat the leather periodically. If you have somewhere shady to park, that will be super helpful (as long as it's not dropping a bunch of crud on the car).

All that should be more than enough to protect everything :)
