Hey guys,
I have a noise in my 2018 GT-Line that I've owned for maybe 6 weeks now, it has just over 50,000km on the clock.
I noticed when I was fitting an aftermarket BOV (listening for noises, opening times etc), that I picked up another noise in my testing, and now I cannot unhear it !
Every time I go above maybe 30-40 km/h, EVERY TIME I stop normally, at PRECISELY 24 KM/H EVERY TIME (!!) regular deceleration, I hear what sounds like a solenoid click and feel a slight thud in what feels like close the pedal box area.
I assume it's something in the braking system disabling or reenabling.. I don't think I could replicate it while coasting (not braking) although I haven't tried that hard. It's super annoying now.
The dealer said it still has warranty for another year or so for the electrics, I'm wonder if I should get them to take a look when they replace one of the headlights (DBL fault), but I wouldn't mind some speculation before I go in there as to point the techs in the right direction as they do multiple brands here (NZ), and I'm scared I'll get stung an hours diagnosis and not much will come of it. That said they have been really swell with dealing with my headlight fault so far (wiped diagnosis fee etc)
Thanks in advance !
