I actually might be interested in a Tuscon N, if we ever decide to move on from our aging X5. There is not to many value propositions for a "good handling and performing" SUV. Yes I know that statement is an oxymoron.

What year X5? Some of them handled and performed better than cars...

I would also be interested in an N version of the Tucson. Here is Biermann's quote from the interview the article is based on (emphasis mine):

"If you look at the Tucson today it is very relaxed, very comfortable to drive, but to have an N version requires a lot of power, nice transmission, nice handling, sportier tyres and lowered body," he said.

2009 3.0l turbo diesel. With M sport pack ... this added a few nicer bits like wide wheels, sport suspension, better seats, alum interior, nav...
I've also retuned ecu for 200kw and 600nm torque. Suffice to say, it goes really strong and that's why we hold on to it. Love it actually. It handles fine too but you still know it is a sizable suv.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Yeah, the one you have is great. The newer ones are nice and very comfortable but much softer. It aims for a different customer. They do respond very well to tunes...

Cheers man, it's our (mrs) daily driver. I could see a Tuscon N (render below) replacing it.
The Stinger will be our (my) toy drive only ;)
I sadly drive a 4x4 work ute (pickup, to you) daily :( but it's handy for towing the boat, 4 wheeling, camping, loads ... and oh yeah WORK!

Hey, nothing wrong with a good "ute". :p I've been wanting one lately - or really just a full-size SUV - because I can never see around the traffic anymore. Everyone drives a truck in Florida...

The Tucson N is going to be really nice. I can see why it's on your list. Hyundai is really impressing me these days - as is Kia...
