So after installing EWG (3 days ago) everything was fine in terms of acceleration and boost. But today I didn’t feel any boost. I brought the map back down to 0 and felt the boost come back and switch back to map 2 and it felt good - thought the problem was resolved but after trying to accelerate again when merging onto the high way I lost boost again. What’s going on?!

Performance mods I have done are.
- MBRP cat back exhaust with MBRP resonators
- injen CAI
- ultimate performance HFC, midpipe and downpipe combo
- big mouth ram snorkel air intake
- HKS spark plugs and HKS BOV
- add w1 oil catch can
- JB4 tune kit with EWG adapter

Why is your FF/wastegate adaptation set to 40? Did you have overboost problem? Try to reset it to 50 and then make another log.

Yeah a support from bms told me to lower it to 40. Should I bring it up to 50 if I experience no boost again?

After - I was experiencing a bit of a problem after installing EWG connectors. Turns out the installer got the 2 sides wrong after inquiring with bms. And then after the sides were fixed the boost came back and then bms sent me a another email asking to lower the ff/wastegate to 40 later that night, I didn’t experience any problems for a few days until recently.

I don't know why they want you to lower it, do you have any logs with FF set to 50?

Your problem can be related to the wastegate valve position. When ECU see the high difference between required/readed positions go into limp mode. Try to set it to 45 and drive, see if the issue will come back and make a log.

No I currently don’t have a log when I had it at 50. I can bring it back up to 45 and 50 and do log for each with WOT run when I get out work and send it to you.
Really appreciate the help. Thank you so much.

Maybe we solve it. I had a similar problem, but I put FF too high :) Ign1, throttle and trims behaved this same way :)

How it's going?
Hey sorry didn’t get to respond. So terry and I have been talking and the reason he wants me to lower the ff is because he said the turbine speed is too high and causes it to go into limp with the occasional CEL even with the EWG connectors. He also said there might be a leak. I have to go to a mechanic to see if there is any leak on the EWG connectors and also harness the wires to protect against heat.

The night we were talking I had brought the FF back up to 50 and after a WOT. Run it went into limp mode and CEL came back on lol brought it back down to 40 restarted the car the app and deleted the CEL code and then it was fine again.

Try with FF set to 45. You can always disable EWG in app settings and see if the car will run ok.
