Howdy, I am newly stung as of today as I purchased my dream car this afternoon. I got a 2018 GT2 Rwd in ceramic silver. I don't plan to leave it stock for long but I already love this thing. Hope to learn a bit from yalls trials and errors and most importantly successes.

I stepped up from a 2016 Optima Lx so it feels as though I've gone from crawling to running a Usain Bolt like sprint. I'm discovering that the previous owner has at very least upgraded the exhaust but not sure to what brand. It's loud and super responsive though.

I have questions regarding my newly acquired Stinger. I picked it up from Bayway Cadillac Southwest in Houston, TX. It appears that the previous owner was named Melvin, I say this mainly due to the name saved in the default bluetooth connection. Its Ceramic Silver with 20" Vossen Industries. It has something plugged into the OBD2 port but I can not find any sign of a JB4 tuner or the like. This thing feels much quicker than any stock stinger I had test drove in my hunt for this one. I am hoping he is or was a member here and can share any other mods that I may find hidden within. Any assistance or if anyone recognizes the car would be awesome.

Take a couple pics of the device in the obd2 and post them here, maybe it's a canned tune of some type (closeups of any labels/identifying text ideal).

Upon looking into it closer it appears that the dealership had installed some GPS Tracking garbage...very sloppy wiring at that.

When I purchased my Stinger second hand, the previous owner had their home address still programmed into the NAV.
These days, you would think that people would be careful to wipe out any personal details left in the built-in NAV and other systems.
