Hi,
I'm almost retired and was helping my son shop for a new car when I came across my Red '21 Stinger GT1. After a flurry of research (and u tubes of plus/minuses and customizations), and a test drive in Sport mode that blew my socks off. I purchased the car on Monday.
Anyway, looking forward to many fun drives. It's not just the quickness but the corner handling that impressed me the most.
Seems to be a well-built, quality car.
I have taken it on a long drive and got almost 29 mpg in comfort and eco mode on the freeway. So pleasant surprise that it will not always be inhaling the premium gas.
Unfortunately my garage is full and it will have to sit outside in Florida. Anyone have a recommendation on custom car covers?
I look forward to being a part of what is likely an exclusive club without the member number of Mustang or Vette forums.

The test drive stings again, it's one of those cars you just have to drive to truly understand.

Let me know if you are planning on modifying it in any way, we have tons of performance or cosmetic options!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! What did the Stinger replace for you? As for car covers, is there anything here you might like?

Stinger replaced a '08 Lexus 400h hybrid which had 248,000 miles on it. Never replaced the hybrid battery and best car I have ever owned. But this will be more fun I think.

The Lexus LS is an impressive automobile. Not exactly crazy about the latest generation, but the previous was excellent. It's hard to find something to dislike. But, yeah, if anything - they're kinda boring to drive. The Stinger is a great solution to that. And I hope you don't mind driving something that gets a lot of attention. it doesn't blend in as well as the LS...
