Glad you are now experiencing the goodness of Kia/Hyundai products, I have owned Kia/ Hyundai cars for years and I can tell you I am not surprised of their quality or value any more, consider that Hyundai/Kia is the 5th car maker on planet earth, they make everything from bridges, steel, heavy machinery, robotics and ship vessels.Wow, that is a great question. I love(d) the Q50 RS 400. It was a sweet and fun ride. Truthfully, I have an issue with turnover of cars. I wish I could be filthy rich, so I could just own every car I was interested in. I have owned a Mustang GT, BMW535i, 1999 Porsche Carerra (was the most costly vehicle to maintain when I bought it in 2015 and subsequent years; also a rough and raw ride), among many others. My experience is that German cars are a fortune to own and maintain. BMW=Bring my wallet.
The Infiniti Q50 RS400 has more hp than the Stinger. The Q50 has a little less weight, it is more jumpy and a rougher ride that the Stinger. The steering on the Q50 is a little wacky, especially at higher speeds. And, even though it has 400 hp, it has a governor of 155 mph on it (as opposed to the 167 mph on the Stinger).
The Stinger and Q50 are compared a lot to each other, which generated my interest in the Stinger. Ironically, the Stinger drives more like a luxury vehicle and holds the road better than the Q50 (at both slower and faster speeds). I like the extra trunk room in the Stinger and it has better technology. IMO. I have yet to try the Launch Pad in the Stinger, which will be sooooo cool. One thing about the Q50 RS400 is that it has Hell Cat status; the hellcat status is only on the RS400. I wonder if the Stinger can do the same. I know the RS400 went 0-60 faster than a Stinger, based on reviews.
I imagine maintenance at a Kia dealership will never compare to the quality of an INFINITI dealership. INFINITI had issues with belts under warranty for me and a few other issues. But, the service was top notch.
What is the most intriguing thing about the Stinger is that it is a KIa. It gets rave reviews. Yet, they are underselling compared to other cars that cost significantly more, because of name brand. I like owning sleeper cars. A couple of things that disturb me about the Stinger. Small gas tank and fake hood ornament vents. Be much cooler to have real vents.
Just love cars. Could look at Car Porn all night.

Regarding the Kia dealership experience I don't know why people throw so much shit at them I have my wife Sedona serviced at the local dealer with no problem:
-Rear door was not smooth fixed immediately on warranty
-Need brake job no problem will do the front cuz the rear are still good so no need to pay full price
-AC needed service done same day working great now
-Tell them do not wash my stinger never washed-
-Tell them need earlier oil changes they sai no problem sir bring the car
-Need a ride to my house after dropping the car for service they say sure will drop you and pick you up on our dealer car.
They may not have fancy floors and ladies with mini skirt and give you champagne but my dealer experience has been fast, clear and courteous and AFFORDABLE unlike the German stealerships.
Cheers!
