New valet mode - has anyone got this working?

I didnt have the User Profile under my settings, I had to call and they repushed my account on there end and it worked.
It was showing TBD in the UVO information before, after they pushed it from their end it came up with my name.
Not sure why I dont have the User Profile tab in my car though.
 
My user profile shows my name not guest, yet pressing valet mode still prompts mento do more “setup”. I called kia connect and they said to go to dealer (no please!) since theg had tk link my profile somehow to kia connect, even though i told them every other feature of uvo works. Any other ideas, what did kia connect do/push to allow for valet mode to work for those that it worked?

For me, they suggested the same thing - go to dealer.. I was fairly certain it has absolutely nothing to do with the dealer.


UVO support made it work by resetting the connection on their end - like a UVO reset. It did reset my oil change details I had saved in UVO - but now the valet mode works.

I am pretty sure that local dealers do not have anything to do with the online UVO service.

The person I spoke to at UVO had nothing of note to do for the valet mode, we got it working after he repushed the info they had on their side to my car. He was awesome and we worked on it for about 20 mins before he tried the repush, it said nothing in the UVO/information until he did it.
The dealer cant do anything accept call them like we can....call them back and tell them what they need to do...I might have the terminology wrong but Im sure they will know what to do...
 
@BUZSTINGR did you try talking with KIA agent? I am trying to figure out how to activate my Valet mode, but although my user is linked with the car (It was another headache), I am not able to see the Valet option on my app (Kia Connect) - Model KIA SOUL 2022 GT-Line

You have to be subscribed to Kia connect for it to work. I refuse to pay for that subscription. Mine expired after a year
