New to the stinger wörld.

I've had my Aurora Black Stinger GT for 9 days now, washed it 5 times.
My personal record for days washing my car is six out of nine. I just washed it this evening: birds have been bombing my car: one even managed to slip one in under the edge of the carport a couple days ago. Grrr:mad: Of course, the instant I see doo on my car I get it off: keep the cleaning supplies in the hatch. It was dusty anyway, as you sagely observe: it gets dirty just sitting.

I know black looks so good,but ...

It's the "but" that makes things interesting.

Black is definitely the hardest to maintain. My first and last black was my Genesis coupe, after that one no more black cars for me.

I see the possibility of monthly car wash coupons down the road ...

Alfred Hitchcock's movie was really about birds and dark colored cars. lol

I'd go nuts with a dark car, probably washing it every single day, maybe more than once a day, even. Heh!

You really are a little mad, Merlin :-)

My black Legacy GT wagon sees the car wash 2-3x / year (and I don't wash it myself). It's dusty again the next day - why bother? Plus, until this year, with the drought in CA, felt bad about washing it. Plus, it gives it that "don't mess with me - I don't give a (*&@#$" look :-)

That's the difference between a utility vehicle and the Stinger. I only washed my repainted van a few times a year too. The Stinger is different!

When I had a black Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Turbo back in the 90s. I had always convinced myself that very fine layer of visible dust on the car was protecting stuff like bird poop from sticking to, and hurting my paint job. Denial is a wonderful place to live in sometimes.

I had a Tuxedo Black '14 Taurus SHO, so I knew what was coming. The thing is, I had to travel quite a distance to find a base AWD GT. Oh well!

I'd say so. :-)

Hi Coast gt,also went thru Cardiff Kia,$60,000 drive away, but had to pay full price for the bimodel as they wouldnt reduce it,and i traded my Mustang turbo in as well.

I hope they threw in the floor mats etc. I take it you got a 2019 build? $60,000 is a good price for a 2019 with a bimodal. I didn’t get it fitted to mine at the time due to delivery delays but it’s still good without. Maybe one day I’ll spend the extra $$

Thay didnt throw in anything, but its a 19 model andthey did give me a good trade in price for the stang so iam happy, only thing iam disapointed with is not being able to get the red seats,so over black.

is not being able to get the red seats,
Are the red seats not available now or is the wait far too long for them ? I want the red seats too

Red is usually a factory order, unless you're lucky enough to find one already in stock, so it can carry a lengthy delivery period.
