New to the group

It took me over five months after I got my Stinger before I saw my first "Stinger in the wild"; and it happened to be a member on here. (he's either sold his Stinger, or lost interest in the forum for other reasons, since then) Since then I've seen 87 all told, the latest one just this afternoon: that is not that many in over three years.

Ah, I gotcha, I saw about a half dozen at one time on a car cruise 3 weekend ago, but haven't seen any others since the 7th when I bought mine.... weird

I didn't count the other four Stingers in our five-car "swarm" a couple of weeks ago. Just now, I returned from a quick dash to the store with my wife, and I saw a Silky Silver 2.0L and a Ceramic Silver, within less than five minutes of each other: that's three this afternoon: the only other time I saw three in one day I cheated because I counted @jmcbgardner even though I had met him by arrangement.

Man, that’s a big league sighting!

The Big Leaguers are all Aussies: there are at least two "Stinger Aces", who have seen five in one day, and one of them, I forget which, has done it twice. But they have a geographical advantage: they all live on the coast so they pass each other a lot more often than Yanks do.
