Hello all. I am new to the group. I have seen this group when searching for random Kia Stinger discussions about common issues seen during building out our Stingers. My 23 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD Grand Tourer is FBO and tuned on e67. Now that I am done with the performance mods I set out to complete, I have turned my attention to other things. I purchased a used CK71 fog kit from a guy on socials who bought the kit new and installed it on his and then traded his in for a BMW.
The shop that has done all my performance work flawlessly couldn't figure how to wire them in properly considering the instructions are for GT1 and GT@ without active headlights. In fact, the instructions mention emailing them if we had a 22 or 23 with active headlights for which they'd send instructions. Their number is out of service and they haven't responded to either my or the shop owner's email.
I do know my way around wiring, but do not have the ability because I have almost zero feeling in my hands which poses a challenge with attempting to wire small guage wire.
If anyone can help me with a wiring diagram for the active headlights or know specifically which wire the power and signal should be wired to side per side, please chime in. The frustrating part is they are wired, but not correctly. The DRL (white) burn every time the car is on. Howevever, it pops the 10A fuse that controls the active headlights, bun and vent swith, turn signals, and of course the active headlights. I do feel that the shop may have wired eithe the power and or the signals to the wrong wire.
Thanks in advance.
