So after a few months of searching I purchased a 2018 stinger GT1. I bought it from a dealership in la Plata Maryland. Really enjoying the car so far. I've been reading a lot of good info on this forum to get me up to speed on tips tricks and particular upgrades. I am curious if anybody on this forum may have known this car. It already had a couple badges swapped, eibach lowering springs and sway bars. Also had the grill snorkels for the intake, all things I've read about already on this site. Attached a photo of when I bought it at the dealership. I have since removed the carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the hood and the hood diffuser. My plan is to do a few upgrades I'm looking for "elegant performance" basically things that add drivability and enjoyability to the car without being gaudy or loud. I'm in my late 30s with two kids so this is my everyday family hauler. Open to suggestions for right now on my radar is a MBRP exhaust, a larger intercooler, some simple drop in air filters And eventually a jb4. Maintenance wise I will be changing the plugs and checking the gap and adding an oil catch can. I have mini coopers that have the direct injection so I know all about the valve build up.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! What did the Stinger replace for you? I’m glad you found us. :)

My daily driver for the last 15 years has been a 2006 Nissan Xterra. It's finally getting a little long in the tooth, so it's time to upgrade. I kept the Xterra, what I did was sell our "spare" which was a 2011 mini Cooper s. We didn't really drive that anymore because you can't fit two kids in a driver comfortably. Worked great when we had just the one kid.

Congrats. The correct color.
Thanks. There was a lot of debate between ceramic silver, blue and the red. After seeing everything in person couldn't walk away from the red.

Congratulations. Love the red. I came from a Toyota Tacoma and my kids fit so much better in the Stinger. I no longer have to lift them into the vehicle anymore

Same thing with the Xterra, i always had to adjust my seat so the kiddos could fit behind me. Not now

Howdy and welcome. Lol, until Number Four came along, we drove a '71 Super Beetle (extra belt added in the middle). We even did road trips to the in-laws, over 700 miles each way: with a luggage carrier on top and two bicycles on a rack mounted to the rear bumper; now, that was a sight (which we totally took for granted at the time, hah).

That, indeed, must have been a sight. :)

Welcome!

Congrats and welcome

Welcome to the forum. I personally think it would look better without that bonnet wrap too.

Nice choice! And it does look a lot better without the wrapped hood. Now if it was only Snow White Pearl……
