New to Kia & Stinger

Hello everyone-
I've been in the market for a car this month, as my 15-year old Volvo S60 is showing every bit of its age. In looking up sedans to consider, I stumbled on reviews of the Stinger, and most were very enthusiastic. I found a pre-owned 2018 base model at a nearby dealer today (Dan O'Brien Kia in Norwood, Mass). I set up an appointment for a test drive, and swore to my partner that's all I would be doing; I had other cars to consider. I ended up buying it on the spot. I felt giddy driving it even a few miles, and seeing the looks it got from other customers while parked at the dealer reinforced my desire. I do virtually all driving in the household, so I wanted something fun and not the typical Accord or Camry or even Optima. The base Stinger (black, with AWD) ticked all of the options I wanted in a car, and I got a fair price without too much sales pressure. I should have it by week's end. I can't wait! I'm not a modder but I do hope to make use of the hive mind here to get the most enjoyment out of it. Thanks!

Howdy ChargingBull. Welcome and congrats on your new stinger! I can relate to "only here to test drive... uhhh....where do I sign." There are a ton of mods for Stingers from engine to body to decals and badges. Many here on the stingerforum store. What state are you from? Pics of your new ride when you have the chance!!!

Congratulations on your new car! I was the same way three months ago when looking at getting a new car. I knew I couldn't buy anything without driving the Stinger, and knew it was what I would buy too! Zero regrets, such an enjoyable car to drive.

This is the soon-to-be-mine Stinger, after my test drive. What look like marks on the front end are reflections of the lighting and electrical poles around the dealership. The pic scared me for a second, made me think I had missed some scratches but I remember the exterior being pristine. My car got a few curious onlookers while it sat there, along with the orange Stinger GT in the background.

I too only went to test drive one as I had other cars to still look at. 20 min after the test drive ended I was putting down a deposit lol
