New Stinger Owner

There’s no E on the actual nuts. The center cap has the E. That’s the decorative plastic thing covering the nuts. Says KIA on the original.
I get it now, I think. You said locks and caps in a way that made me imagine an "E" on both. You were saying that you goe "E" put on your badges and wheel caps; and you also got a set of wheel locks. I'm not usually this anal about understanding what somebody is saying, just so you know. It must have been the mood I was in as I was reading through the threads I am watching. Anyway, your car does look very, very spiff.

Never have wheels that no one else wanted????
Use of a double negative means yes, until this car, I've never had wheels that anyone else would possibly want.

I have completed installing splash guards front and rear. The fronts are very easy to put on, one screw and two push pins. The are not difficult, but a little more time consuming as access to the two screws which must be removed (two screws and one push pin) have limited access without removing the rear wheel. I also installed door latch covers. The color matches the GT2 black chrome. Here a pics of my efforts 20180810_093640.webp 20180810_093652.webp 20180810_093629.webp

G’day & welcome to the forum, nice mods, the mud flaps look good, very modest looking but effective, cannot buy these here locally. US websites have them price a little high but man the shipping charges out of the US to AU are horrendous, I reckon between the US Postal Service, Australia Post, DHL, UPS, FedEx etc. they are making a fortune on parcel deliveries.

Have you looked at any of the Korean websites. If you can find one in English, the shipping should not be too bad..
Yes, all the Korean sites I have purchased from are usually free shipping, I know they amortise that cost into the items but if the price is right & I’m happy to pay that it’s a win win all round, I don’t like being gouged on pricing let alone freight.

The mud guards are Kia parts. Can’t you order them from a local dealer? Maybe even in stock?

Good point I will ask next time I’m there.
I ordered mine on Ebay. They came from a dealer in another state. Got them with free shipping and was able to use an eBay coupon so it was a good price. I like them and they are protective without being obnoxiously large or flappy.

@William Chadburn you did it to me again! First the wheel locking nuts, now these LEDs. I don't know which lights you are replacing. Care to show where they are on your Stinger? Thanks.

The backup light are the two incandescent bulbs in the taillight assembly which turn-on when the car is placed into reverse. The blub are in the in board clear lenses in the taillight assembly.

So, you just take the bulbs out and pop the LEDs in? That's it?

Yes that's it. However, please check out this out:

LED Reverse Lights

In order to get to the sockets which hold the incandescent bulbs, you must remove the taillight assembly. Two panels and 6 nuts are involved. Nothing hard, just a little time consuming. Check your owners manual for instruction on how to change the back-up light bulbs.....

I also received the sun shade I had ordered from eBay. It is supposed to be a custom fit. I appears to be fairly good. Here are a few pics

Overall not bad, but not totally perfect.

That seat back protection looks pretty good! I want a rubber type though to go with my rubber trunk mat. Didn't see that kind on KIA's accessory site.
