Ive been a long time car guy but have been doing that dad thing in my 2013 Optima that I was actually the original owner of. Loved the car and never had issues so I talked my wife into getting a 2019 Sorento about 8 months ago.
With the deals due to coronavirus I figured I'd take advantage and pick up a car I've been dreaming of for a while. The Stinger.
I actually got lucky and found a CPO 2019 Hichroma Red GT1 AWD so I pulled the trigger on that as opposed to a new GT I was looking at. Need those ventilated seats in Florida!
Anyway, glad to be in the hive now officially and looking forward to posting progress pictures in the near future.

Welcome aboard from Palm Beach County! Congratulations on your Stinger GT! I’m glad you found us. :)

Welcome! Good to see another owner in the Tampa area, and I agree the ventilated seats are great for this Florida heat!

Alright picked it up today! I don't know how to upload pictures on here yet. Is everyone uploading to like imgur and then linking to that or something? Sorry if it's listed somewhere but I just got back from getting gas and my adrenaline is still going.
I got on it for the first time and was like "wow this thing is nuts" and about 5 minutes later I realized I'd been in eco mode the whole time.
I am getting ceramic tint tomorrow so I'll absolutely be putting up some pictures then.
I also went with arc springs and, bms intake, and m&s front and rear pieces that will be here throughout next week, mostly due to recommendations on this site.
Looking forward to being part of the community!

You just grab the pics from your phone or computer. Use the "upload a file" button in the lower right corner.

Ohhh now it's there. That is nice and easy!

Here ya go. Pardon the garage pics. All I've had time for obviously.

I did start clay baring the car last night but only got done with the hood because it was so bad! So I took a picture of that after product and how awesome this color is.20200423_144539.webp 20200423_204329.webp 20200423_221827.webp

That's what I thought originally. But Sal said that uploading pics files is not restricted. And I have seen brand newbies do that. I think that the venue messes with newbies and they don't see things (speaking from my own experience here too).

You're definitely right. I think the problem is this forum is too easy. I've been on plenty and nothing has been as clear and easy to work as this one is. Kudos to the creator. It's going to make it much easier to continue to participate.

Are you a firefighter/paramedic?

I am not. I work in IT. Are most people in the Tampa area that drive Stingers firefighters or paramedics?
I am not I'm in IT as well

Your handle......343 and R32.....has nothing to do with your location.....343 is the number of lives lost on 9/11

Oh wow! Totally never thought about it.
The real story is nowhere near as patriotic:
Probably about 15 years ago I was driving a 343whp single cam Honda Del Sol and a Blue mkiv VW R32. The combination of both cars made the screen name and I've been running it on most car forums since.

Sorry to disappoint.
