New stinger owner from NZ

Just joined the forum recently, eagerly awaiting my new Hichroma Red Stinger GT Sport to arrive. It's the latest variant with the new seats, screen etc and all the goodies. I'm not sure what USA spec they are equivalent to but its RWD, that's all we get here but that's just fine with me. only 300km on the clock as an ex-demo from the dealer. Other than adding the Towbar it is highly likely to remain stock, Id like to add a drain back catch can for the PCV but need to discuss with the service manager about if that would have any effect on the warranty.

It's going to be a lovely daily driver, great road trip car. Occasionally I will have the race car on behind (about 1400 kg braked trailer) but I am keeping the Falcon XR6 for the 'big' jobs.

Had a call from the dealer, car is ready to go with towbar fitted. Now to keep my head down for a couple weeks while omicron gets out here. Last thing I want is to have to isolate as a close contact or case come 5th Feb. Doesn't help that I'm at a lot of places every day with work. Eek, fingers crossed.

Woohoo, picked the new beast up the other day and road trip home via the long way. It's been sopping wet the last few days and it will be a few more before it clears up again so have to be sensible in the mean time

First impressions are fantastic. Given the wet conditions I've been cruising around in eco and just been enjoying the refinement of the car as the gran tourer that it's designed to be.
