New Owner 2022 Kia Stinger GT1 AWD Black on Black

Hey everyone!

My name is Michael, happy to be joining this forum! I have been poking around the site and I'm sure I can find answers but it would be super helpful if you guys give quick answers or paste links to threads? Any help appreciated and looking forward to enjoying the Stinger!

Aesthetic: I wish I could have gotten the scorpion package, anywhere to get these items now? Really want that black spoiler. Best place to buy black or carbon fiber front grille, side fender vents and mirror caps, or should I paint these? Are dual exhaust black tips painted or fitted on?

Performance: I was going to get the JB4 package but I need my stuff shipped to California. Could use some help/direction on what to do here. Looking for tune, cold air intake, seems like need to upgrade spark plugs, maybe the oil catch can. Eventually thinking downpipes, exhaust, coilovers but haven't done enough research yet.

Again thank you and apologies for any newb questions!

Congrats and welcome
Lots of choice mods out there. Definitely recommend sway bars to add to your list

Howdy and welcome. Ambitious! I second sway bars (the only mod I've done, as power is more than enough for me and I am into handling).

Actually replaced a corvette c8 lol, it was so much fun but impractical for me. Wanted something still with some kick and handling but sedan and more affordable.

JB4 would be the best, you can remove it fairly quickly. Or get a dedicated ecu tune and have them supply the ecu (more spendy) but you can swap ecu's quickly too for inspection.

Finding a used JB4 on here would be a way to go too, most personal sellers don't care.

All the Scorpion stuff can be found at OEM suppliers, somebody just posted their Scorp rear wing they put on, I'll try and find the thread. I would just hit up the dealer you got it at and tell them to order you one, they are available.

The exhaust tips are just screwed on the lower bumper, you can remove them and paint them if you like. That's the route I'm going when my exhaust gets put on.

Thank you so much! Ordered the JB4. I'm checking out a thread rn that's showing spoiler part number and such, but saying either need to drill holes in trunk or get trunk lid. I can't find the trunk lid but looking. /threads/scorpion-spoiler.23526/ Also I found replacement mirror caps and fender vents in black but can't find front grille replacement for gold-ish color there. Do you know if that exists or should just paint them?

I would personally just paint them but that's me. Use a good adhesion promoter and a quality paint and I'd run it.

I'm sure I saw on here, I think last week, a post showing and describing the Scorpion spoiler, and it comes already attached to a replacement hatch lid cover: no drilling or bolting on necessary.
Amazing! Yes seems like they’re saying it comes with the lid! Thank you, just commented there to confirm with them, thx again

You made a good choice with the Stinger. But the C8 - that’s a big change. You’ll surely miss some things about the Corvette - but appreciate things about the Stinger. It really is a great combination of everything you need.
