Hello! I literally just picked up my new 2018 Stinger 2.0 SWP less than 24 hours ago. Only drove around 50 miles on it, but I'm loving it so far. Coming from a 2006 Civic LX, this thing is a dream. I was thinking about the GT trim initially, but so far I like what I have. Going to get a tint, rims and lower it soon, so I'll post pics once it's done. One thing that I found out afterwards, was how over-pressurized the tires are. All show 58 PSI, I assume this isn't normal. Thanks for looking.

Edit: I lowered the pressure to the correct PSI. 36 front, 39 rear.

No, dealer didn't prep the car correctly. Check your tire pressure label in the driver's door jam and deflate to the correct pressures.

This is not uncommon. These dealers are short-cutting the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) to save money, or the techs are cheating. I was present during the PDI on my GT2 and if done correctly, it takes longer than the time paid (1.4 I think for a GT2.) The tech has a tablet that hooks into the computer system on the car and it lists all the things to check on that model. Tire pressure is one of them. All of these cars are shipped with excess pressure in the tires and must be reduced initially to the settings shown on the door jamb. The tire pressure warning system will show underinflation but does not warn of overinflation. I would mention this to Kia when they send you a questionnaire about your car and it wouldn't hurt to tell the service manager next time you see him/her, either. No excuse...
 
I have a model like yours but a Premium. Love it. Tire noise seemed high at first but after 800 mies its getting quieter. Maybe I expected too much coming from a Chrysler 300S!

My dealer left the tire pressure at 60psi also. Pretty ridiculous for them not to check that since literally every car is setup that way.

For a second it looked like you put a LED ring in your grill for lighting effects but I think its just the glare from the lights?

Yeah, the first thing I saw was the "LED ring" in the grille too. Interesting photo artifact.

And I think you did a dyslexic thing and wrote your tire pressures backwards. The higher pressure, by a couple of pounds, go to the front, not the rear. My plate says 38 psi front, 36 psi rear. When I asked the salesman who supervised the prep of my car about tire pressure being too high, he jokingly said, "that's above my pay grade." In other words, I was telling him stuff he didn't know (specifically, heavy center tire wear if you run over-inflated). He did say that all the tires come over-inflated and they just leave them that way. He didn't say why. Trimming cost would be the most likely, as already asserted on this thread. But do modern, high aspect ratio tires actually wear in the center if over-inflated? He might have just been humoring me. There isn't any safety risk or else the prep would reduce the pressure.

The 2.0 Premium RWD models definitely say 36 front / 39 rear on the door jamb.

Interesting. Is it a RWD thing, then? Does engine weight play into the different tire pressure recommendations?
 
Most RWD cars have higher tire pressures on the rear some have equal pressures. My 2.0 placard says more in rear by a few pounds I am running 38 front 39 rear and it feels good
