What made you decide to go with black over Ceramic Grey?

Any plans to tune the Stinger like you did with the WRX?

I’m nervous living here in Washington with these tires. I’m sure it will snow soon
DC or WA State?... If you are in the Seattle area, no worries, it's going to be in the mid-60's by next week! If DC, you'd better lobby those politicians for some more global warming, because you are going to be getting hit with more of the cold stuff sooner than later. Yah, I'm a weather geek.

It was tough. But the Ceramic would’ve been $50 more a month so it was easy. And I really wanted the red interior, it was either the Ceramic or Aurora Black.

Plus they had it at another dealership which was 20 minutes away so it was out of sight out of mind kinda, feel me?
I think if I find a decent sounding exhaust I’ll look into it but def getting tints on this bad boy!

Washington state. I live in spokane. It stays cold here till April I’ve heard but I hope the worst has past.

I understand that. I love the red interior but to get it I only had black as an option. I live in Phoenix so black exterior is a no go for me. Wish you could get red on red here!

Why no black in Phoenix?! I actually want to move there.

It’s very hot here and dusty. So black is impossible to keep clean and it makes the vehicle even hotter in the summer. Entire reason I got a GT2 over a GT1 with driver assistance package was for the ventilated seats... ha

With a lot of dust you're best off with silver or grey. And ventilated seats are a really nice feature to have...

The 2.0t is louder in the cabin than the GT? Didn’t notice that when I test drove it.

Take a Stinger 2.0T Premium out, then take the Optima SXL, drive them on he same stretch of road and keep track of the noise level at varying speeds and see how they compare. After driving the Stinger Premium and then getting back into my Optima Hybrid EX and drove it on the same road, the Stinger was louder at 55 mph in the cabin than the Optima at 70. I drove the GT and the Premium back to back previously and noted that the cabin was louder, we went to Audi to compare it to an A5 Sportback, the noise level in the Audi seemed quieter but there was some noise as well that made it not as quiet as the GT. Now, I didn't drive those cars on the highway but since they sounded louder than my Optima, I figured they would be more noise at highway speeds. We plan to go back to Audi to do a longer drive in the A5 as well as do a longer drive in the Stinger Premium and get some highway time in to really compare. I know different road type and tires can make for a noisier cabin.

By the way, what car do you currently drive?

I bought a GT2. Traded in my ‘13 Optima SX for it. So I don’t plan to test drive anything for a while ;)

Did you turn off the pumped in engine noise from the speakers on the Stinger? It's on mid-level by default...
I didn’t do anything to mine as yet. Was too nervous driving it back home. It sits so low.

Good choice! Haven’t driven a GT2 yet, just the GT and it was darn good. Want to see how much difference the adaptive suspension makes.

I don’t think you can turn it all the way off. Also, the default setting depends what drive mode you’re in.

It does sit low, even lower than my Mazda 6. At a recent auto show my Dad commented "Wow, this car sits low..." He said that about every car he sat in due to the fact he only has a mini-van and mid-size SUV. I thought "If he thinks a Chevy Malibu and Honda Accord sit low, wait until he gets into a Stinger. Ha!"

I have my seat to the lowest it can go cuz my hair will hit the roof I think and I’m only 5’7. I love it though. Parked as far as possible in the parking lot at work
