Hello everyone, I picked up a 2020 Stinger GT AWD Deep Chroma Blue with Dark Brown Interior, the car is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and I am quite thrilled to be a new owner. After a bit of research IMO this is the best all around car money can buy, coupled with 5k in rebates plus a 4k dealer discount made it impossible to pass up on. I have been driving a 2019 Honda Insight for the last year and this is quite the upgrade. My cars before that were a 2012 Mustang GT full bolt on's, 2015 M235i tune down pipe and intake, and 2017 AMG C43 stock. Comparing to the C43 AMG the Kia having all that torque available at 13k RPM makes it feel like it pulls a bit harder, I did prefer the performance exhaust of the AMG.

I look forward to the advice I will pick up on this forum and wish all the best.

I have not tried it in manual mode yet, outside of my 50 mile drive to pick her up, I have not done anything more than a couple fast food runs. I suspect there is a recommended break in period before getting the RPMs up. Still working my way through the owners manual.

Thanks, I checked out your site and quite a bit of goodies are listed. I can see a simple tune being added in the near future, I am a bit partial to JB4 but will review some threads and see what is out there, may just boil down to the one that is easiest to install and remove.

Hi, Welcome to the forum congrats beautiful choice, I agree currently nothing can beat the stinger, its definitely one of if not the best buy out there, all the options inside, the amazing power, the practicality, the looks, the price and maintenance cost its a joke. Can't beat the Stinger.

600 miles; 2K to 4K RPM, easy on the brakes, no launch control. I kept mine in Sport Mode and used the paddle shifters to make it easy to maintain RPM above 2K, and to vary RPM: "they" say to not hold a steady RPM for long periods during that first 600 miles. Happy breaking in!

Thanks for this information. I have 70 miles on her so far and it feels like it will take an eternity to get to 600. I'll have to do some joy riding this weekend.

thought 600 was an eternity back in july especially since i'm not commuting anymore... i blink and we are approaching 3k miles. enjoy!

I hit 600 on my first road trip, c. two weeks in. And I wasted no time doing fast passes. Got up to 135 MPH the first time and was shocked; it didn't feel that fast at all.

Guys, quick question about infotainment...

Besides the ability to completely shut off the enhanced audio on the 2019 and the overhead 360 camera, is there any other difference with the infotainment between the 2018 and 2019?

I found a 2018 for sale - would definitely add the wireless charging pad, but if the infotainment in the 2019 is a better system, I may hold off until a used 2019 comes up.

No, no difference between 2018 and 2019. Both GT2s have awesome HK sound, some of the speakers are embedded in the chassis to decrease vibration

Can you or anyone else touch on this? Looks like the 2018 is a 7" vs and 8" (don't care about that), but the "UVO eServices?"

What does that mean?

One step above basic uvo. Just adds some poi and parking minders but you have to connect your phone to it as the states version of the Stinger does not have a cellular modem.. so really it is useless. Can't use uvo while you are using Android auto or Car play anyway.

Well that is the gt2 trim so it has the 8 inch screen with uvo e services anyway! To me, the screen dimensions didn't matter as much but the 8 inch screen bezel looks a lot cleaner.
