New owner checking in!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to report in on day two of my Stinger adventure. I bought a fully loaded GT2 RWD in Micro Blue Pearl. I just got back from outside the country and hadn't intended on getting a new car right away, but the folks at Car Pros Kia in Glendale made a great offer and I'll be honest, after the test drive I was in love. I continue to be so amazed and impressed with what Kia has accomplished. This car has freaking everything and looks great too. Admittedly, I was reluctant to even think about a car with so many electronic aids. I was coming from an old SC300 (which I'm sure was advanced for its time but it's basic by today's standards) and also test drove an ND Miata before I stopped by Kia; deep down I've always been a big fan of cars that are smaller and simpler than a modern sports sedan. But I had to consider practicality, and I gotta say, for as many miles as I log on the highway for work, I now fully understand the appeal of the stuff like the radar cruise control and particularly the blind spot monitoring. I don't think I'd like to own a car with such big blind spots without the assists. And the 360 cameras! It's worth it just to reduce my risk of crunching something on a parking block or a high curb

Welcome. Great first post! Imagine the upgrade for this boy: '94 Plymouth Voyager with roll up windows, and five on the floor (yes, the only one I ever saw). Practicality is a huge selling point, including the rear room and hatch space. Love the long wheelbase without making the car into a boat. LOVE the torque and low end acceleration at all speeds. I bought it for passing on long road trips.

Oh man, a Voyager. I briefly inherited a '96 Dodge Caravan from my parents when I needed a bigger car for work. At the time I had a Tiburon and while it could fit a lot of stuff for such a little car, it wasn't working out. That van did not age well, but my friends sure did love to hit me up whenever they needed a designated driver for the squad, or a couch moved, haha. That was back in 2007, I can't even imagine still driving one of those.​
