Hey friends, picked up my 2019 Stinger GT AWD back at the beginning of November 2020, brand new off the lot with 69 miles. Swapped out the badges just a few weeks later but haven't made any other changes yet. I have been mostly lurking around these parts since just soaking up the knowledge and sexy pics of some of your rides.

I have seen just a few other stingers around in my area but have not had the pleasure of meeting any of the owners. Anyone on here local to north Jersey and have any mods on their stinger? Having a hard time deciding where to start.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I’m glad you found us. What did the Stinger replace for you?

Welcome to the hive! My number one recommended upgrade is front and rear sway bars, huge improvement in the handling.

2012 Chrysler 200 in grandma blue

The Stinger is a whole other world coming from that thing, but it got me by till I could get something I actually wanted lol

I have been thinking about those, but I wouldn't wanna do them without also doing the lowering springs, which also don't look that fantastic without spacers or new wheels in my opinion. My main considerations right now are pretty much as follows, in no particular order..

Injen Intake
•MBRP Exhaust
•Eibach Springs
•Sway Bars
•20mm spacers + stock wheels painted black (Until I need new tires, then I'd get a new set of wheels)
•Type G Spoiler (color matched)
•M&S Diffuser

I'd love to tint the windows too but NJ is a bitch about that, only the rear windows are legal to tint

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Nice color (yup, I am biased) and nice mod choices!!

I almost immediately did PPF, exhaust and intake. I was very happy with that for a while.

That is a beauty.

How's the ride compared to stock? Jersey roads suck butthole and I can only do Springs + Sways or Intake + Exhaust right now, can't decide which to start with.

The ride is stiff and perfect!! heh.
Northern Virginia roads suck here too. Personally I would start with Intake + Exhaust and a Catch Can. Come to think of it mine all started with intakes...

I'm leaning that way, just hate the fender gap look. If you had to pick just one, intake or exhaust, which would it be? Gotta do my mods slowly so it will be a little while before I get the other one.

Fender gap is minimal on the Stinger, in my humble opinion. But some people are OCD about seeing anything above the tire. Then you're just courting rub when you push the curves. Lowering is right out: my car would have died in its first six months if I had lowered it even one inch.

I’m in Somerset County but end up in Union and Morris County a good amount for work (real estate). I only have 1100 miles but so far changed front emblem, center cap decals, steering wheel decal, and BMS intakes. Took 57 days to get my plates since I bought out of state so once I get an inspection decal the fun will start.

Welcome to the forum and congrats. Good luck with the modding.

I started with K&N Intakes (was my first mod).

started with AP intakes and shortly after with a JB4, I'm still addicted to it but my bank account says otherwise lol

Yeah, money is the only thing between me and my dreams for this car. How did that power increase feel when you installed the JB4?

Even with just map 2 it completely wakes the car up and makes me want more. I also have it paired with the BMS throttle controller and it gives another level of customization which I like a lot.
