Ok, so I am struggling with 2 problems.
1. I can't find where to change the Premium Sound signature (audience, stage, normal) while listening to music from Apple Carplay. It's gone form the settings menu and you can now change it from a button that only appears while in Radio or BT Media. Is this an Eu thing or do you guys have the same problem?
2. Suddenly I only see a fixed interval under "Service interval" and it's set at15k km/365 days. I can't manually reset it or change the length of the interval as before. Again, only Eu problem?
Thanks!

Ok, so for number 2 it was just my dealer who messed it up. I went back there and they reactivated the possibility to adjust my own service interval.
But for 1 I still have no solution.
Where can you switch between "audience", "stage" and "normal" while listening to music from apple carplay / android auto? I can't find it in Settings anymore...

I tried this as well and - found nothing. Doesn't seem possible (I'm not sure if it ever was).

I primarily use Bluetooth from my phone for music, and I use the "Audience" setting while using Bluetooth.
Rarely use android auto - but it appears there are no settings for audience, stage, reference while using android auto.

I did the October update for the 23 stinger and it made carplay a lot better but still suffers from serious input lag.

It seems whatever setting you apply to bluetooth will also work for Android Auto. So setting your phones Bluetooth to "Audience" will make the same phone use "Audience" when using AA as well.

How do you confirm this without being able to switch between the 3 settings?

Only audibly?

I'm not saying you can't tell the difference, it's just much more difficult to determine without being able to cycle through the 3

Just audibly. I had googled this issue and someone on a telluride forum stated that's how it works, so I gave it a try. As far as I can tell the setting is linked between the two, but I haven't found anyway of confirming it except for your ears. I connected in Bluetooth, set the one I wanted then plugged in the phone and it switches to AA and keeps the setting. You would have to repeat for each of the 3 if you want to cycle through them. Not convenient, but at least it works.

Will try that.,

Very odd that they seemingly left out the switch for the 3 modes.

Kia assistance confirmed that this is how it now works (BT setting is kept on AA & Carplay). I questioned the (stupid) decision to take it out of Settings and the customer rep said something along the lines "it's not such a big deal, you can live with it"

lol, thanks for confirming

What a stupid reply from Kia - you can live with it.

^^Which firmware version did they implement this change in? Was it last fall 2022 or spring 2022?

^^Thanks. My last update was spring of 2022. Held off updating in fall as the 'new' features didn't seem worth while. We'll see what the next one brings. Last time they released it then pulled it a week later, released again few weeks after that.

Having issues trying to install the update. I pulled the newest files using the Navigation Update tool and put them on a 128GB flash drive. It seems it gets formatted to exFAT by the tool. Plugging the USB into my Stinger, I get the message "USB device is not supported by the media feature", and when selecting Update Software, I get "Insert the device that contains the update."

So obviously something isn't right. I have had lots of connection instability, mainly using Android Auto. I haven't been able to try another flash drive, but just wondering if others have come across similar issues.

all I can say is that reading these posts shows issues going the usb route but the sd card method seems to always work.

I don't think SD card is an option on my 2022 GT2/Scorpion.

well then, it must be a formatting screw up. I have nothing.

Format it fat32 and maybe use a smaller size... 64GB?
yes it has to be fat32. and I know that kia updates say the sd card has to be a 32gb card. maybe a 32gb usb stick and fat32 will work. I thought of another thing, don't have any other files on the drive, only the update information.

^^Not going to fit 40GB worth of files to a 32GB stick.
